Uhh does anyone here write poetry? This is the poem I wrote for my school project for the topic 'a genius child'. I hate the ending. I hate the whole thing actually. Par this is after all the 1st 5 min wala draft. Sooo some advice please?

Though I believe wholeheartedly,

Every child is a genius.

They just unwrap at different times,

There are a few,

Which make us lose our mind,

The true geniuses,

The true Einsteins,

They are praised,

They are treated divine

All until the day they are not doing fine,

No one bothers to ask,

If they are okay.

No one knows,

They haven't slept for more than a day.

When they finally break under all the pressure,

They are labelled as lazy.

That's when truly,

All things become hazy.

Genius to average,

Another person with

Heaps of wasted potential.

Another person who could have

Become really influential.

this is good..the harsh reality of expectations but this is good for a school project. The ending could be refined a little.... ,I suppose..

Smart to feebleminded.

No-one bothers to ask about them

Every grain of 'care', within seconds, remain grinded.

According to society, they're another person

with heaps of wasted potential.

Another person who could have

Become really influential.

It's sad, realisation hasn't dawned yet-

That brilliance isn't intelligence

That marks don't define your future.

Their ignorance to this, stealing them of their self-confidence.

Have any of you watched hum kahan kay sachay thay? I've watched a few Pakistani shows, my favourite being Zindagi Gulzar Hai (Kashaf and her mother are ❤️), but have not watched any recently. What I love about Pakistani shows is they are finite and planned from beginning to end with powerful female characters.
