Symbolism

Auto Ride- Raavi riding on her dream vehicle

Splashing Mud- Calling Shiva not up to the mark

Shiva lashing out Shivi thing from childhood in frustration

Auto Wala is saying Sorry- Shiva’s expectation of acceptance.

Raavi is calling the police- Always trying to bring a complaint to a third party between them, be it Dhara or Gaumbi or her Maasi from childhood.

Shiva snatching phone- Wanting it always to be between them.

Raavi is reminding him to say sorry- Making Shiva respect her first so that they could move on.

Shiva refusing- Because he thinks there isn't any hope.

I like what they were, are or have become. It's senseless, but it's their world. The journey towards each other has multiple barriers-mental, physical and emotional. They are in different planes, and rightfully so.

REALITY

Completely incompatible couple! They should try to solve out by conversations or part ways.

FICTION

They bring contrast, dynamism and momentum because of such a huge divide amongst the two.

When the opposite worlds collide-there is madness!

And for this to be active, the show has to be on. Who cares if people on forum watches it or not?! We just need to troll and gave great convos😂😂

ML 🤗

I think even EDT has a huge chunk of interesting conversations. I rarely visit AU as I have a low interest in offscreen discussions, but I love dropping there sometime. EDT also has interesting viewpoints. The best part of this forum is a huge diversity of people 🤗

Get well soon!

P.s. I miss you, but I know these episodes have nothing to offer for someone to give up their sleep and wake up at 6 am.

It's a neck sprain due to an injury that has now lead to tendonitis in my arm too. Have to use an arm sling often. Doctors have advised me not to type or hold my phone for more extended periods. So, most of my energy is mostly office work focussed.

Either she will give you a raise or won’t but you won’t lose anything by asking unless it’s a private company or something and she’s a complete ass then keep looking for opportunities and wait for the right time. 💙 hopefully she will give you one on her own.

No chance. When my boss was provided numbers for the raise, without even asking us, she went to the SVP and demanded a bigger raise as we practically run the whole program and train others. But it was shot down 🤷🏽‍♀️. (We went through merger somewhat recently and there was restructuring. Her boss is from the other company and they all are underpaid compared to our legacy company. And they want to even things out).

Whars keeping me here is the flexibility my boss gives me and I want experience in managerial role with guidance and then look for a new job, so I am not learning the job, and company, etc. all at the same time.

Agree!

I think they both lash out at each other because they are familiar with agression on each other!
Raavi has only shown anger towards Shiva and he’s also been extremely aggressive with her! So it’s easier for both to lash out on one another!
Raavi lashed out then Shiva is lashing out now!
both are not at fault or equally at fault!
both have been verbally toxic to each other!

This is my personal opinion, so offense to anyone!

Personally though, i have a problem with physical aggressiveness which makes me dislike Shiva a lil bit more, to me it seems like he’s trying to Intimidate Raavi with his physical strength!
It’s visually disturbing to watch!
also Shiva is a patriarchal husband, lashing out at Raavi if she says something abt Dhara! Super annoying!

I think a lot of it is how each person views them from a personal lens- I personally get more affecred by emotional bashing that physical intimidation- so I will probably be always against Raavi 😆

My personal opinion is that Raavi has generally been collateral damage (up until the current track) where Shiva is concerned.

Pre wedding he was not comfortable with her because she was Maami's daughter. And I personally also get very irritated if somone imposes themselves on me or my family- which is what Raavi was doing- imagine a cousin or relative who you dislike forcefully comes and spends time around you- you would be irritated too.

I might be biased but I don't remember Shiva going out of his way to trouble or be rude to Raavi, his reactions have mostly been to Raavi either instigating him or hovering about his house or shop. I know a lot of people speculate on him being jealous- but I somehow was not convinced of it. I resonated with him because I also get supremely pissed and get curt with people who barge into my safe space(my home or room), especially at a time I do not want to entertain them 🤷‍♀️

The kangan kaand was also pretty interesting, because while in absolute terms what he did to Raavi was wrong- but he had no other leverage over Maami and he had to do what he had to do. I understood where he came from.

My problem with Shiva has been since the Mandir episode, where he has devolved beyond recognition 😐

Oh no! Hope it gets better soon. Did they say how long the recovery will be?! Or is it a lifetime thing?

Sri 🤗

They both have their universe; it has its moments, but they bring out the worst from each other. I like their universe in fiction. There's no right or wrong, but I enjoy them in fantasy.

Devta is a reality check and breaking stereotypes

Gaura is skewed idealism perpetrated by society

Shivi is fantasy Mills and Boons.

The reason I can enjoy the show to date barring a few crass episodes, is that I view Shivi from a fictional lens.

I am not sure if you've watched She’ by Imtiaz Ali. It's fiction, but the dynamics between Sasya and the lead girl is so palpable.

The challenge here in PS is that consumers don't understand the difference between reality and fiction, and thus, it's more their responsibility to show better.

Dramas drive the TRP crowd more as compared to systematic dialogues. Sad!

There are many joint families I have seen who have similar common aspects with PS. Sad reality again.

My blood boiled today at Rishita’s treatment by this hypocritical Suman.

Hiring a house help too is a huge issue in some homes. I have seen that. That's why my blood boiled.

Wtf is

Men don't look good in kitchen.
