Another above average episode with Imlie being as iconic as always. 😎 What struck me the most today was the evolution to her character in the last three weeks. There was a time when the guilt of hurting Malini wallowed her to the extent that she was willing to give Adi up and remain committed in a one-sided marriage for life. That same girl - starkly recognizing that Malini's hurt never had to do with losing her love, instead it was always about the fracture to her ego & female pride - stepped up to perform the same rituals she once saw her husband perform with someone else. Her trust in Adi and their relationship is absolute and unyielding. I love how she's been owning this part of her identity that is associated with Adi - props go to Adi here too. Imlie's stand makes these episodes so much more bearable than they would've been if she'd gone back to meri didi mahaan mode, overlooking all that Malini's been upto.

About Malini, I can only say this - Imlie will never be her true adversary, because Imlie will never stoop to the levels Malini has to get what she wants. Imlie's fighting for her marriage and her sister both , while Malini's been fighting for a toy that's been ripped out of her hands after seven years. We'll see how the precap plays out tomorrow, but I love how every answer Imlie gives to Malini's taunts & threats is simply the faith that she has in her marriage. If Malini were even slightly perceptive and if she weren't living under a mountain of her own delusions, she would see that this is exactly why the entire fight is pointless. She would rather make a fool out of herself at every point than 'give up' because she knows that she would be forced to move on, and she's terrified of doing that. Weakest character ever written. 😳

Lastly, NN - Loved her and I just have to commend the actor again. Incredible performance 👏

Hope this track comes to an end soon now. We've been waiting long enough
