Oh god, I'm shuddering just thinking of that. I could never! Too much anxiety standing in front of the class and all that. It's bad enough I have to teach 1 chapter later in the sem. I could never do an entire course. Do they create their own syllabi and course outlines? Or do they use a template/pre-created ones?

I dont know about other colleges but in my college, we were trained during masters program.
And also, these independent teachers are called assistant professors and work under senior faculty.
