Are you going to put your and others health and life at risk for this big screen feast? Come on. Don't be such an irresponsible citizen.

These's something called a "Vaccine" and if "those people" are coming to a theatre they're putting their own life at stake. 😆

But in all seriousness, People should get vaccinated and go support the economy, especially small businesses who have mightly struggled during this. That's being a good citizen.

BIG NO.

Why would anyone risk their life to watch movies like Radhe or Laxmi Bomb or Big Bull ?

Its not just about spending money to watch crap but psychologically being threatened with chances of Corona.

Even a guy coughs or sneezes in theater your mind will be distracted.

Closed rooms have high risk of transmission, specially in a crowded theater.

Then after you reach home, if you have cough or flu then you will be blaming yourself for days and hoping its just flu not Corona.

So I don't think anyone for next 3 - 6 months will yet flock into theaters even for BIG TICKET movies.

There is already 3rd wave sword hanging above our heads. Within next 2-3 months winter will hit and so might Corona.

The lousy govt. is still in no mood to speed up vaccination process to save their pennies and risking human lives.

We have already seen mammoth dead pyres in this second wave.

We have already seen how shameless and irresponsible is this govt. and system.

We have already seen the scarcity of hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and even food during strict lock down.

Above all most people have lost their earnings, depleted their savings.

If ever India becomes Corona free in future, first thing people will do is work hard to replenish their savings. Entertainment will be the last thing they will opt for because all we did during last two lock down was watching movies, series, videos on internet. We have already been burned out due to overdose of screen time.

So producers, it better you push back your release dates by 1-2 years or release on OTT.

I'm so desperate for normal life to resume that I'd even watch a Salman movie at the theatre -if- things get better. But I don't think they're gonna, any soon.

There are tons of stupid people who believe wearing a thin mask made of cloth would protect them from the virus so I bet they'd go if the govt relaxes the restrictions. And there are all those crazy Jayalalitha fans who went into depression and tried to kill themselves when she died. They'd think of this as a great opportunity .

I understand and respect your concern for public health and safety. I am a huge supporter of COVID responsibility myself. But I would request you to please take a step back and think before jumping down someone's throat. Yelling at or shaming people is counterproductive. First, make sure people are actually being unsafe instead of assuming. If they are being unsafe, try to find out the underlying reasons - misinformation, misunderstanding, lack of resources, etc. Address the underlying reason with some empathy. Not everyone is doing things maliciously. More people would be open to getting their behaviors corrected if you do it with grace and empathy. And if someone is indeed knee-deep in conspiracy theories and denial - you're not going to change them.

As for my post - the topic is about "once this is over" and the TM's first post reiterates "once the pandemic is over." Obviously, don't flock to the theaters to watch movies if COVID is raging where you live. Please follow all your local public safety laws.

I am privileged to be fully vaccinated since April and live in a county with high vaccination rate and public masking mandates. Our movie theaters have been running with distanced seating since spring and have recently resumed full seating. However, I avoid doing things and still live like a hermit because my close friends have unvaccinated children. But if a movie like Spiderman Far From Home comes along, I will take the chance and isolate myself until I can get a negative test (my employer provides free and regular testing.)
