And that's not manipulation, when Sai decides to leave the house after witnessing the cafe scene and when he realises she is leaving because of that, he decides to stop her saying I am stopping you as a guardian.. I agree no one is singularly at fault. Both have had a part to play. Both are dealing with their own set of insecurities. The only reason this has escalated is, because Virat generally gives in, he doesn’t hold his anger for too long. And thats why Sai always gets away with her harsh words and rude comments. I know that there will be arguments that Virat has done worse and still she has forgiven and come back to him. And I agree his mistakes were far more grave. But my point here is, (without taking away the fact that he was extremely wrong in his acts) that once he realises his mistakes he has apologised and every time Sai decided to stay back it was somewhere due to her own need to be close to him. Otherwise she is too stubborn to give into an apology for such insults. And Sai has never realised the impact or the pain her words and actions have caused Virat so far. She always gets away with it. Even now, she is confused and unable to figure that her words are the reason for his reaction. Because he generally forgives and forgets without an apology and hence no realisation from Sai’s end. And she has seen that as a pattern, thats what she understands as his behaviour. Unfortunately nothing beyond that.

With MU and lack of communication between these two, the only factor driving their relationship so far was Virat. But with him retreating, this relationship is crumbling. But then it was essential for Sai’s realisation since Virat refuses to come clear on his past and give her that assurance. The fact is you only tend to be so casual and say anything to someone without a second thought only if that person is family… is your own. And Virat is that to Sai, just that she refuses to accept or acknowledge it.

The “insult” word used yesterday, i knew was rightfully used from his end, mirroring his emotional state. This was mentioned is Ray’s post and I wanted to comment, but missed. He is hurt from not just her ignorance to his feelings but also from the fact that she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. But the hurt was also from a feeling of being disrespected. He felt that she insulted his feelings and his gestures and that added to his hurt. He understands that you cant force anyone to love you, and hence he has arrived at the conclusion that Sai doesn’t love him despite his efforts. And it is for her happiness he is ready to set her free. But then in all this one can’t expect him to be immune to hurt caused to himself. He is in distress, broken yet he wants her to live her life away from him, if thats what gives her happiness, even if it means he will be broken beyond repair. Yes, its not revenge, he cant think of doing that to her, he is just going into the shell to protect himself. He doesn’t want to pull her in his distress, he wants to carry it alone. So he is closing himself.

When Sai speaks about Samrat being a nice guy - Sai says its not always about Virat. But here he was more hurt and his dialogue was just an extension of it. She understands people and their feelings, even Samrat who she just met a day ago. She has all good things to say about him, but she has not been able to understand and see through his efforts. So for him it was more like she doesn’t want to acknowledge it because she doesn’t harbour the same feelings as him.
Virat saying he knows what she doing - When you know her so well.. why has he been unable to see through the hard exterior she pulls when she is breaking behind it?

When he leaves the room - Its was symbolic of him walking out if her life. I’m not sure they will play it out tomorrow, but the fear of him walking will set in with this and what that means to her will set in.

Precap - When she said “2din ki aur baat hai” the wavering in her tone, was an insight into her inner turmoil. Her break down has begun. Good voice modulation👏👏

After all angst against it since yesterday and kind of not expecting anything, today I’m amazed at their audacity to use it as a bait for the upcoming date sequence and also postpone it to another episode. Wow!!

Yeah call her out for showing her rights, but then also stop her from leaving when she decides, because he is her legal guardian.. and since Sai hardly talks about her insults and her hurt and is not crying this all is fine..!
