Bipolar...that's precisely what the this show is making us fans..abolutely unbalanced and unhinged!! One episode we are loving it, drooling over it and are in seventh heaven abusing the repeat button and the very next we are tearing our hair out, throwing things at the screen, ranting in the forum and threatening to quit (me being one of the worst hit). They throw in our faces the most ridiculous and illogical situations, the most idiotic story lines, the plots where they butcher our favorites, hard to swallow situations and harder to accept assasinations and then suddenly they give us these two..and miraculously we are calm and collected..like on a solid dose of good medication and all because of Raghav and Pallavi (I refuse to use Raghvi for now, I have developed an allergy to that name, I break out in a rash..hmm wonder why)
Logic returns to La La Land, incomprehensible as it seems, there are reasons for why the ship that was lost at sea seems to have found its way and how. Of course we being loyal fans subah ka bhoola shaam ko ghar aa jaaye to usse bhoola nahin kehtey (par bhatka zaroor kehte hain). I remember in my hell raiser days (I have now graduated to hell giver) we used to do this trick, drive the car at breakneck speed and then pull the handbrakes..khulle maidaam mein of course!! Any guesses as to what used to happen??? A scene shot from a film's climax (and for god's sake sochna bhi mat), but it destoyed the car..eventually. This is what we fans did with the show a few weeks back, in the middle of the track we decided to pull the handbrakes, heck that felt good, made us feel so powerful, that was fun too and we justified it beautifully and...we messed up the whole car...urff drama. Total chaos, illogical nonsense spilled out...they couldn't afford to scrap what was shot and to turn a drama 360 is not possible or feasible, ab bhugto..and we have been bhugting for the past week!!
So how did this car finally find its gear...an experienced driver is back in the seat!! Yes, we got him back and he is familiar with the workings of this beautiful machine, he know what buttons to push, change what gears at what speed and how to turn this into a smooth ride. And thats why the feels feel so familiar, the moods are mellow, the flow suddenly makes sense, its smooth like champagne, sweet like chocolate covered strawberries (aaj vrat hai so bear with me).
We were furious due to Raghav and by what was done to him in the past few episodes. The Raghav we saw was not acceptable, not palatable. The man who keeps duniya in his jeb main was not this. Where was the power?? Where was the killer? Today finally I saw a glimmer of reason, a hope of a diagnosis of what ails him, a clue as to what happend to that Amazon...even the strongest, the toughest, has one weakness. A weakness that defies logic and brings the hero to his knees. We think he is invincible and he is, but not when it comes to love. He ruled cause he never knew fear, the fear of losing something precious..he was bold and beautiful !!. But even in his glorious badass days think and tell me when was Raghav most blind, most illogical ..sorry to say this but most stupid?? Remember when Amma and Kirti where in jail, do you remember how trigger happy he was?? How illogical and out of control when he antagonized the police officer and made things more n more difficult for all. And do you remember how foolishly and crazily he went after Pallavi...we couldn't recognize him then and again we can't recognize him now. (i am not defending how he has been destroyed but just trying to bring some order to the chaos).
Pallavi is Raghav's achilles heel...his biggest weakness, his highest fall from grace cause when it comes to her, he simply can't think straight. He overreacts, loses logic, gives in to a blind fury, loses his capacity to think cause all he can do is feel. He has been lost for days, actually since Mandar came back he has slowly n steadily lost his anchor. He has been bleeding, confused, helpless, totally lost cause he can deal with anything but not this. This is too close to his heart and so too far from his mind. We all know how his adoration for Pallavi is..so much so that even Pallavi cannot match him in his emotions and intensity and passion at times and can you imagine the turmoil he is going through right now? She is slipping through his fingers, he now cannot even see her..imagine his pain, his frustration, his thrashing !! Those who are expecting Raghav Rao, the hero, the saviour, the don, the born smart razor sharp savvy heartbreaker (like me) kindly take a back seat!! This is the true Raghav, true to his essence, honest to his core. We loved him so blindly that we overlooked his weaknesses or decided to think of them as an aberration. Did we really expect him to behave like a King when Pallavi is at stake? If he would have behaved logically at this hour, he wouldn't have been the Raghav we truly love.
And how did i get this eureka gyaan? Amma..cause a mother knows best (i can say this cause my amma never comes to this forum). One clear sentence ...just stay with him varna yeh paagal ho jayega and how she knows him!! All he needs is his love next to him n he is calm, on even keel, but the moment Mandar's name is mentioned he is back to insane mode. The very thought of her leaving him and the don is in a mind fog!! So forgive him and let him be, let him fear, let him be uncertain, let him lose it all, let him be human and flawed, weak and blinded, let him feel fear n fury, let him pull out guns from all drawers in all rooms and try n shoot one and all...after all Raghav Rao is in love!!
