He might be undercover who has gone rogue or to the dark side because of greed. Until Raghav offered him 5 crore he didn't show signs of being an outright gold digger, so when he realized what he's missing out, he decided to change track. We've been seeing corrupt doctors and cops from the beginning of the show so him being a dishonest one wouldn't surprise me. This is that kind of show.

As for misogyny well, it's rampant. Heck, even Milind displays hints of it at times. I don't hold cops on this show to high standards, and those who watch Ghum know exactly what I mean.

As I said , I do agree there are plenty of rogue, misogynistic cops heck even normal people . Still I don’t want him to be rogue/ undercover anything he’s just fine being plain rogue. I only have liked him in his interactions with Raghav when Pallavi was about to leave for kolhapur after their wedding. I was thinking this seems a nice dynamic and then there came this 360 turnaround and I can’t stand him anymore . Nor can I stand keerthi. This is just my view, as you said the doctors in this show are they really doctors? The cops have all been bribed by Raghav anyways. So let them at least spare undercover police or investigators for heavens sake. Yep ghum’s police officer is the ultimate.
