As far as I have understood - the US entered Afghanistan for their own benefit against the Soviets; they funded the Mujahideen to get the soviets out of there as they despise Communism. They do not understand the history, religion and culture of any country they enter. Slowly terror groups came into existence.

Then came Pakistan - basically Pakistan in lieu of helping the US in its war against terror - kept taking funds from US but actually used it to fund ISI, terror groups for creating insurgency in Kashmir. They created Al Qaeda too - which ultimately caused 9/11.

So the US has just ended up creating more issues and problems for themselves and casually devastating every country they enter.. and creating more issues for the entire world in general. The US govt fools its own people - they cant justify the trillion of dollars and the lives they wasted of their own citizens.

But majority of Afghans who have come back from Kabul, Afghanistan to New Delhi, India say they didn't see any violence and this was indeed a new regimen. They just came back because they were only hell afraid of the past but nothing actually has happened on the ground.

See, after sometime - the press, everything will be controlled by them.

After sometime, when people are stripped off all their rights - they will literally have no control. They will be taught how/what to think, say or behave in life. They will publish happy citizens in the newspaper and the ground reality will be different.

Back in the 60s and 70s - Kabul was quite modern.

The Taliban has already opened fire at protestors just 1-2 days back so of course they don't care about killing innocents. This isn't law and order or justice. There is a reason people are risking their lives to run away.
