11. LOVING YOU IS A LOSING GAME

The sound of Impatient heels were the only thing which were heard in the deserted corridor.It was in afternoon that Raavi was so suddenly called by the college committee informing her about a sudden arrival of her family.She had scoffed at the mere thought of someone coming to see her when she had clearly warned everyone she called family,to not try and give her warmth,comfort or love.She despised these feelings,it pulls her down whenever she plans to reach the heights.In these two years,she learned that emotions made you weak,the farther you stay away from them,the better…

But alas,Raavi did not know..emotions are like sinful temptations.knowing that it is pulling you into hell,hurting you, churning you outside in...but still wanting it.Wanting to feel the pain,the suffering cause….

Loving you Is a losing game..

On the other hand,she was mildly amused to check who has the audacity to call themselves their family.She knew her family strictly comprised of Masi-ma,mausa-pa and Anita di.As far as she knew they were not here in Mumbai.They couldn't be,she had warned them in a voice which she still shuddered at.A voice she barely recognized as hers..

Her brain started to come up with stupid assumtions about who must it be,but no one came to her mind.except..

No,no!!they can't be here!!

Raavi stopped walking for a minute and thought about it.She was sure they couldn't be here.It was mindless of her to think this way.But,not wanting to take a risk,she put on her cold mask and opened the door to the office…..

The door opened and in stepped Raavi in all her glory with an air of pride surrounding her.The first person she noticed was the professor and she politely greeted him,not even acknowledging the fact that there were people present in the room,people whom she was damn well familiar with.She turned her head and brown orbs finally met black and it felt as though everything stopped,time itself stopped.Shiva and Raavi met after two agonizing years.No words were spoken yet all accusations were screaming out.She looked away first,and All Shiva could do was just stare.

Dhara saw Raavi and instantly felt something was wrong.Her brown orbs weren't shinny as before Almost as though she was only a body without a soul.No emotions,only body.Yet Dhara tried to smile at Raavi,but quickly frowned as all she got in return was a cold glare and a calculating look.

The professor who quit oblivious to the air of tension inside the huge office,said. "Raavi dear,just the person we needed!!I know you must be bubbling with excitement to meet your family so I will excuse myself so you can have a conversation with your family." He walked out after giving all of them a big smile,receiving none in return.

Raavi looked at all of them and mentally rolled her eyes.Looking up at them,she recalled all her childhood and young memories.Memories of the naive little Raavi flooded in her mind and she felt a serious surge of anger on herself to be so bloody annoying.snapping out of it,she beckoned the other's to sit on the couch. "Well,have a seat"

They all looked startled at her casual words,as though she was inviting someone inside.Only,it wasn't filled with happiness,more like a formality.they all filled in the spaces and all the while Raavi looked at them like a hawk,making plans for this conversation,knowing that she couldn't lose her temper.When everyone was settled,Dhara asked her "how are you Raavi ?"

Raavi almost choked at her question.How was she doing,they asked her, definitely not something you should ask to a person who had be scarred for life.She decided to be practical than to go with the flow.She bluntly said "I am good,I hope you are too.Now,Keeping the pleasentaries aside,why are you all here?after two years are you not done with your torture on me?? Is there anything else left??"

To say the pandya's were bewildered would be an understatement,she was talking to them.Yes,but that was the problem,She was talking to them,not expressing her happiness or hate.It was neutral as though she was talking with a stranger.That hurt them alot.

Shiva,on the other hand,knew this was gonna happen.He regretted even coming here."Bad decision " he thought.

"Why are you talking to us like strangers, Raavi?"Rishita asked in a scared tone.Raavi laughed a cold cruel laugh and said "well aren't you all strangers??"

Dhara immediately said "Raavi dear,we know we have hurted you,and trust me,we are deeply ashamed for our actions.Actions have consequences,the actions were ours,but the consequences were harshly showered upon you,we have come to apologize-"

"Enough" Raavi's voice thundered.It sounded like Zeus's anger on earth.Ravi had enough of there mindless chit chat.They had come to apologize??Raavi closed her eyes in disgust when she thought their brains had sunk this lower.she did not expect this from Dhara di,she was the most smartest in the lot.She decided to tell them her pain,she needed to let her anger out.So she started a war of words against them "who do you think you all are huh??god's??How could you even think of showing me your faces when you know you have not committed a mistake,but a sin. What did you say??you have come to apologize??well if you don't know,I have to interest in taking your apologies and furthermore an act of sin can only be repented by death.I am not a killer so I would not kill you but forgiving you is something I can't do"

Raavi drew in a sharp breath and continued "You all had the audacity to come here for forgiveness because you are clueless about my past,what happened with me two years ago,what I Lost.So I will gladly tell you my past so that you all can feel the pain which I felt years ago"

Her eyes rested at Shiva who gave her look which further angered her,giving her the fuel to hurt him more by drowning him in guilt,so she finally let her past demons out,her pain out and started recalling her side of the story,her suffering……..

Hey everyone!! I and o glad to be back and I am honestly so happy to receive such positive responses rather than hate.So yes from now onwards, I am gonna write the dialogues in English..I hope that would be fine with you all...now back on to the chapter,two questions for today
