Anurag started Barfi pre production while filming for Kites early 2010 and Barfi released late 2012. So that’s about 2.5 years. 7 years I think is Jagga Jasoos.

4 years. JJ was announced in 2013, released in 2017.

But the delay and Ranbir are the constant. Shamshera is still not seeing the light of day.
