they could easily have shown it...wrap up rhea track a week before and show the revelation and ahaan ka reaction and then the consequence of it..arram se had they not spend the whole time on daadi alone .

I always thought Ahaan will call police for Dadi because he has that sense of right and wrong. He even told dadi when she mixed drugs in Savy's coffee that he wont be able to justify her next time.
