This episode was all about the Bhalla women!! "Hum to nahi jee paaye, to tu jee le" This is why Anokhi's resolve is so strong when it comes to her education and her independence. She knows the sacrifices that went into her having that opportunity. Rama begged her child to runaway and was willing to take whatever punishment came her way. She felt she finally got a chance to stand by her child. Babli is also amazing. The Bhalla sister relationship is so precious. She's such a master mind. She should have planned her own escape from Vineet a long time ago. I love when she says "Kash meri time pe bhi, koyi Vicky hota". She deserved that love story. Also, Falaq looked beautiful....outfit, makeup, jewelry.....on point!

Side notes:

~ Monty is such a drunkard. He passed out on his stage! This is the guy for Anokhi?? All because he's from Canada?

~ Anokhi packed her clothes, books, laptop, certificates, trophies, and medals.........unlike Shaurya who packed his books that one time. I can't believe we had such discussions on the forum about Shaurya's packing........those were the days!!

~ Always looking for parallels......Anokhi was saying goodbye to her room like she did when she bid ShaKhi room bye.

When Jugni plays, I get so happy! The lyrics are so apt for Anokhi.

Zamane ka dekho kya dastoor

Beti hai yaha kitni majboor

Meri bhi hai manmarziyan

Mujhe teri ijazaat nahi manzoor

Ek saans toh lu,azaad karun mein bediyan apni aaj

Apni kismet, apni kahani, apne kalam se likhungi aaj

Apne dum pe rehna mujhko, nahi rehna mahotaj

Ho, chaahe aandhi ya toofan

Uske dum par sab kurbaan

Hai haasil sab jo le wo thaan

Aasman puche uske naam

Pankhon par odh ujaale

Haniyaara cheer na nikli

Ho pee gayi kaali raat ki syaahi

Ho, syaahi peekar nikli aisi laali

Ho laali, roshni me dooba hai jahaaan.......

Anokhi teri jugni, jugni, jugni..

Anokhi teri jugni, jugni, jugni..

Precap: Runaway bride continues!

The lyrics, oh my god. So apt. When I heard the first four lines during the episode, I started crying. Actually I am like KV 😉, I cry very easily when emotional.

Yesterday's episode was gutwrenching and I am aghast at the thought that I may have passed SAAKK.

Anokhi was very meticulous with her packing showing how dedicated she is with everything, even running away from home 😃.

Yes the song was so apt for the scene and even I got tears in my eyes in the beginning of the episode .

@bold: Same feeling! I can't believe I didn't know this show was on the air for 2+ months before I discovered it. And even then what if I had not seen the ragging episode hug on IG, I would have never been sucked back into ITV. I'm glad I saw it and I'm glad to be here!! What brought you to SAAKK initially?

For me it was the scene when Shaurya went to see Aastha in hospital when she was shot, I saw his expression, that tear drop and the song Chunar. I had lost my mother a few months before and I cried cried cried. Then out of curiosity checked out a few episodes and came upon the interview of Anokhi. being an academic I loved the way they presented it and was hooked. Even tried to influence some friends to watch. I admired Aastha and the way she carried herself.

I am appreciating Anokhi a bit better now seeing the initial episodes...Before I used to get a bit irritated with her junoon and one track mind.

I am appreciating Shaurya even more, knowing where he is coming from and despite that being a good human being.
