I believe it started off with screenshots of Gaumbi and Dev captured in moments where you could spin a funny tale out of it - this came about during the time everyone was just about done with Dhara and Rishita being mahaan ig. I didn't mind since it was in jest but the joke blew up and now it's looking bad when they're actually carrying it over to the actors.
