I came across this video and felt even more gutted. The beauty of this country is going to be completely ruined. You won’t have children enjoying the freedom anymore. I so badly wanted to visit this place, but it seems we aren’t destined to visit our motherland

This is absolutely stunning.

I was lucky enough to have gone once in my lifetime back in 2010. I was able to visit gharqa which is very similar to band-e-amir.

Unfortunately it doesn't look I will be able to go back to visit my grandparents graves who passed away in 2014 and 2017 respectively.

I’m glad you at least visited once in your lifetime. I’ve never had a chance. First place I wanted to visit was my mother and fathers respective homes. I wanted to walk on the same ground and relive their childhood/teenage years. The feeling would have been surreal.
