Off topic, but I am extremely upset and angry about what is happening in Afganistan. This is bad for all citizens but for women it is double oppression situation. This is the worst time for women out there. The women journalists, filmmakers or whoever were eductaed and liberal are already thinking to leave the country.

It is very upsetting news and unfortunate for afghani citizens…..US in the first place should not have the begun the war.. the situation is back to square one after loosing thousands of lives and spending trillions of dollars al these years.. infact they left Taliban more powerful by leaving all military weaponry with thrm…

It’s very sad but unfortunately inevitable... Brits couldn’t colonize them, Russia lost as well and now US-led coalition is a lost cause.

And I doubt things were all rosy in the inner parts of Afghanistan in last 20 years - women and children outside of some urban centres prob suffered the same fate.

I think nobody knows a solution to this hence they’re sitting back n letting it unfold as is. That is the saddest reality of all. Reminds me of the whole Benghazi - US had no idea who were allies n who were playing them.

It is true that the things were never ideal in last 20 years especially in rural areas. Afgan government was extremly corrupted and Taliban rooted out that corruption in rural areas. Thus, gained some support and power. It was failure of weak and corrupt Afgan government and incompetance of the West. The US completely misjudged the power of Taliban. Even 5 days before all this, Biden was saying something completely different. They had no idea what is happening on ground.

All I hope now is that, Taliban is really changed and do as they are saying now in terms of keeping peace, educating everyone.

You are right…once the war over US mission was to make Afghan gvmt strong enough to face Taliban but it took them so long realize it may never happen.. there was too much political pressure in US to stop funding the war.. US made agreement last year with Taliban n Afghan gvt.. Taliban promised to support Afghan gvt once US back out the troops but in less then 2 weeks they took over everything

But all this only reminds me how much one shld be thankful to be able to live in a liberal society…

Lol..I dont know if its good or bad Iss Parakshita ki chakkar mein I lost all emotions for Ishqaan…and last weeks episodes added to it…after thinking too much about their immature behavior, I lost it for Parakshita too..

Will need to see if my emotions wakeup again after watching next week’s episodes 😆

oh god yes! I've had so many people tell me this!
