yaar old ssk ran for I think 7 years with ridiculous storyline… reboots always pull old audience.. plus the ML is very famous child actor whose child co actress was earlier part of first season… old cast was brought in to introduce the show very much like SNS2 and then initially every storyline is simple.. its simple rich boy meets middle class simple sanskari girl .. they got married under weird circumstances… and then they don’t like each other and slowly accept each other … while boys family hurl insults on girl and girls family…I know its sad reality but people like such storyline … I was just going through wikipedia to read the story and realized that grand mother in law applied black soot on FL after burning newspaper to humiliate her and also humiliated his father in front of whole city…if people like such storylines then what to say..
infact SSK2 and SNS1 has almost similar storyline…
our show has a little modern storyline… saas in not typical ITV saas.. ML is not adarsh beta… FL is not bechari abla naari…its an educated show … where people are simple nothing out of ordinary… two people who are self made… plus they are retaining cultural elements and nothing over the top drama…. i can quote another show where the whole household is marathi but they rarely use marathi dialogues.. here in our show dialogues are often used from native language (and i totally love this about the show but not everybody likes that…)
unlike those shows where richness runs in the family… and though they are rich in terms of money, well educated but have narrowest mindset…
it deeply upsets me what kind of mindset the majority of urban audience have that they like sob fests and shows which promotes impractical values and stuff and Female torture by in laws ..😔
