Have you ever seen Sameer Maheshwari from Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai??? For me that character was the best in ITV.... My favourite couple will always be Samaina (Sameer and Naina) and I watch ghum only for Sai only I love Sai Joshi more then any character of ghum...

Totally agree, virat is flawed but he have lot more trains which are awesome, he is so relatable ... And Neil yup Neil is the reason we can connect to virat even when we have what virat is doing sometimes🤣❤️

After Kuch rang, haven't watched any other show. I won't follow any actors, I just watch shows in my free time only if I can connect with any character, that's it.

Neil’s performance as Virat is exemplary.. he breathes life into the character and at the end of the day makes us feel that Virat’s flaws can never shadow his forte..He makes the character likable.

So true. I usually stay away from ITV since I can't digest MAHAAN and OTT characters. After a long time, Virat pulled a string in my heart. I mean, he is beautifully flawed character. Neil is doing a fab job.❤️

This character is so human & relatable which is very rare to see on ITV. He has his own set of flaws, mistakes, wrong choices, etc... but what pulled me to you is your character which is PURE GOLD. You are brave, caring, loyal, commitment towards your duties, love for your family and loved ones. Best thing I really like about U is - You're not a coward, you never ran away from reality, accepting your mistakes and most importantly facing consequences whether it's good or bad.

Yes virat is rare gem 💎 which no one want to loose in this serial. Diamond too comes out of coal mine & it is covered with coal dust but still a diamond never loose it shine.

True, everything makes a sense if we see Virat as a human being. His mistakes, his anger, his smile, his care. Cuz he thinks like a human. He is a common man like you or me ( though we are common girls😆)

And Neil is just awesome, nevers fails to impress. Cuz he has made Virat a part of our life❤️

To err is human, that's why he is so organic and relatable. I mean that's how life works right, we all learn from our mistakes. No one is perfect.

But what makes him different from others is the way he takes responsibility of his choices and it's consequences, he never blamed others, he never ran away from facing the reality. Maybe that's why he is always at the receiving end. ❤️
