So basically, shams was gambling (he was playing some card game, i think it was poker) n got good. So the person he played with (Hakeem was his name) took him to a bigger match where he got a corrupt police officer who organized the whole thing to bet on shams to win. Shams lost so the police officer lost a lot of money so he wanted shams to give him the money he bet on shams plus extra back. He also had informers follow shams everywhere so he kept an eye on him, and when shams couldn’t return the money the officer arrested him n beat him up. Then he offered shams to a higher officer for a different case, as the criminal so they all could get a promotion. Then shams got sentenced for a crime he didn’t commit. The corrupt officer was killed by hakeem as the hakeem poisoned his drink.

Didn't expect him to pull off a negative role so well...the body language the dialogue delivery expressions...just perfect....what I loved is...he kept it natural ...didn't over do it ...and that had an even bigger impact ...hats off....even the last scene when he was dying from poison was also shown very realistically by him

Yes ...he directed Sang e mar mar and sammi as well

He is a multi talented person

But I m glad he has not shifted to direction only and also does impactful cameos in various shows

I loved him in Mohlat as well
