You know, this is just my pov of Virat's character. I feel one of Virat's biggest weakness is his quality that he "cares" a lot of everyone.

He does, there are many instances where he shows his care not only for Samrat, but for everyone. Caring about people someway or the other, but the way he chooses to show the care sometimes comes out well, sometimes doesn't. Like, he staying silent is most of the family matters usually indicates his effort to diffuse the situation and just make peace, but it doesn't happen , cuz he is good, not all around him na.

And what is one's interpretation of care. Means, what is one's way to see care. Is care crying for that person always, or going mad for that person. Or forever stuck at one point and dwelling without living a life. This isn't care.

Dard zaroori nahi ki hamesha ek hi form mein aaye. My way of care is anger, I yell and yell if I see my near and dear ones hurt. Or there is another form, silence. And what you are indiacting is silence . But, does silence or him being showed of not making efforts is called as selfishness. No I feel . Cuz, isn't that our selfishness that we want to see Virat this way.

Taking care of his brother's family, making sure that they are okay and well, till his brother returns, is also care na . Cuz, his brother's family is important for his brother, so obviously taking care if them is his responsibility right.

And what is Samrat here, he is lost. So, there is pain for sure, but it is shown that Virat's pain is over powered here by his hope, a hope that one day, Samrat will return. Pakhi is allowed to stay cuz he truts one day his brother will return and he cares for his brother, and he cares cuz he knows his brother's needs, that he might want to see his wife, happy in this house in his absence. Isn't this care.

Care is to not dwell or nurture, sometimes it can't come out, but hota hai yaar woh, dikhta nahi hai, cuZ the person doesn't want to show his shattering hope. But, he does care for his brother. And he isn't a hyprcrite. There are many more people in CN who can we stamped with this title, but many are there who have a heart.
