Did amma do the right thing by not letting Pallavi talk to RR?

When Pallavi left the house she didn’t even check with the family , I mean talk or inform them but just left for D house.

I think yes. This is tough love.

Pallavi needs someone to clearly indicate to her that she is WRONG.

Pallavi needs to put on her listening ears.

She’s not listening to Aai or Raghav.

She needed a STRONG wake up call.

So Amma did the right thing, protect her son and keep Pious Pallavi away, if only for a night.

Hopefully Siccku does not add Amma to his list of “50 shades of gray “ though.

In some ways Amma did right. She was trying to protect her child and not at all wrong. We have seen many a times Amma standing for Pallavi even of it means against her own children so that woman isn't some biased parent who selfishly only thinks about her child like Vijay Deshmukh.

Pallavi was needed to shown some reality mirror and that's exactly what Amma did.

Yes.

Whether she was acting as a mother or a mother-in-law, both her children (Raghav and Pallavi) needed a bit of tough love.

Raghav needed that distance from Pallavi otherwise he would lash out in different ways. He always spirals when he's drunk and this time, his words could've caused more damage than their relationship could bear.

Pallavi needed to be shut out from her home to understand that she cannot take her loved ones for granted and expect them to be available at her beck and call. The way D-family treats her is the way she's treating Raghav and Amma and that was bound to blow up sooner than later.

I just hope Amma remains as she is - a velvet glove on an iron fist.

I didnt think she was completely right. Probably not letting her talk to Raghav was right only. Pallavi kind of dug that hole for herself. She made a promise and didnt stand on it. Broke Amma's trust on her . And honestly Amma has always been the tough love kind of person.....be it Raghav or Keerthi .....den why spare Pallavi when she has loved her equally. Its like telling your kid you are grounded as a punishment.

But.....I think she was wrong in letting Keerthi shut the door on Pallavi's face. Dt was brutal. Personally I felt bad .......as if Pallavi has nowhere she could call her own.

But did you notice how Pallavi herself was standing at the entrance like an outsider? Haq se she should have barged into the house as it's her own and ignored Keerti. Something held her back too.

What Amma did as a mother is right, not allowing Pallu to meet Raghav..

But Keerthi interference was not correct👎🏼

Amma saw her son was hurt, so it was obvious👍🏼

Yep I did

I ws thinking d same. She should hv had dt outburst dt it was her home too before Keerthi shut the door.

Door band karne ke baad bolke kya fayda.

She probably realises somewhere dt she has done this to herself.

I toh even think she should hv never returned back widout talking to Raghav......chahe puri raat bahar hi baitna padta.

yes I noticed it too but then after the door was shut only she was telling Kaka that it’s her house too and she can come whenever she wants to meet her husband.. So I think somewhere she is feeling guilty after Raghav vented out what he was feeling and she came to the door but didn’t have the courage to barge in to talk to him.

@bold, Felt the e x a c t same way. Also, the more we see how warped Sanki B is .. the more I wonder how mentally manipulated Pallavi was. She kinda was set up for relationship-failure up until the time she met RR. Until she was married the first time, I’m sure her brother wanted to fulfill a duty (given they didn’t have parents). It was part of the reason we understood her misplaced faith in the Trashmukhs. Then she’s married into the Trashmukhs with Aai, Milind kaka, and Amrutha only recently supporting her the way she should have been. It took three years of her “making a place for herself” and now she’s facing a situation that’s worsened by the fact that she never had a sense-of-self. We all wanted Pallavi to “find herself” at the beginning of Rao marriage and even RR mentioned it — but I do not think that development has occurred yet.
