Why are the makers in a hurry?

Normally in ITV, a party or a costume change is a great way to garner TRPs and hence are stretched for days or even weeks but in our show every single party is finished in a jiffy.

We get so many BTS of an upcoming sequence which creates such a hype but the actual product is hardly 3-4 minutes long. It's like showing the whole movie in the trailer.

Be the black dress or the Maharashtrian dinner sequence, we got so many pics as if it was going to be a grand affair but the main track was a tai-tai-phisss

Also this Mangla Gauri and the award function was promoted so much but but it was finished within a single episode. Such party sequences are a great way to garner TRPs and show good scenes or twists but I dont know why makers don't utilise them properly and are in such a jet set speed.

SS talked about cast being overworked but I guess half the time would be going in getting so elaborately dressed for such a short sequence.

Moreover there is no hype created within the storyline. I won't take names but in a show, a school dance function was being talked about for close to a month and now the actual function has stretched for more than 4 days but here out of the blue Mangla Gauri is celebrated, out of the blue an award function is organised without any hype being created.

Why are makers not utilising such basic TRP making schemes is beyond me?

Every track in this show is wrapped up very fast.

Normally a wedding track can go for months, in our case it was done within 24 hrs. 1 episode shadi sapan ho gyi.

Keetrash track dragged for few weeks and the trp dropped. Ultimately they were used to for Mandar to come on board. He will subsequently bring Ved in the picture. The focus is good but since the start neither festivals, occassions, parties or weddings are utilized for trps, promotions or as parallel tracks. Similarly, with each subplot a character takes a beating. Even Raghav Rao was doing Keerti or sister jap until Pallavi discovered the truth

Sikku has choosen new comers as leads, even sideys are not famous character artists, their work is more regional therefore I guess budget is much lower than the show which was axed.

The producer in his live mentioned that M is here to stay😄🙂😃 After the backlash he is changing the course and everything is going at supersonic speed

Extension is not official so whether the news is true or not, it's a question mark.

our show has always been fast paced from the starting. I think this should be counted as positive because it gives movie or series vibes. if one episode is boring we know that next day episode will be something exciting not like other serials where we have to wait approx 2 week for a event to get over. The romantic sequences too don't get stretched else it will look like cringe and for next romantic scenes we won't be that excited

The shadi sequence was done in 1 episode only and it was the most normal forced marriage I have seen in show. A person wouldn't going to be happily dressed in a lehenga/saree and with beautiful hairdo if she was getting married without her will. Pallavi too did the same she came in simple saree and raghav respecting his culture too wore simple clothes

Going by the worst case too , if show is getting shut down they will have 3 months time and going by the speed , they can cover every scenario left in show

I’ve wondered about this too. When they could stretch it to get a couple of days worth of content, in MHRW, the scenes appear rushed.

I think it’s a serious lack of experience in story telling.

They do seem to go to great lengths to get the actors all dressed up but the scene itself appears rushed and raw. It’s powerful acting by the cast that compensates for this and makes it watchable- if not for the superior acting by the cast, these would be a glaring defect in the show.

Gossip tv had indicated that extension is subject to trps.

Now he comes up with another exclusive news.

So all the speculation concerning MHRW being under scanner is true. It can be a wrap for MHRW

I feel the same way! Star Plus is notorious for its dragfest, re: YRKKH, and while I appreciate the otherwise speedy pace in MHRW, the grand festivals and functions definitely require more coverage. It would boost TRPs and actually give the actors a bang for their buck.

You're absolutely right that the production house goes to great lengths to get the actors all dressed up, and the same actors put in a lot of physical and mental prep into each performance, but only for it to be edited out to a 10-minute sequence.

@bold: Totally! If it wasn't for Sai and Shivangi's acting, the show would be taking a massive hit.

I hate to say it, but I think this production house is not fit for Star Plus. It's relatively new and still has a long way to go before jumping straight into the lion's den. Sandip's errors are highlighted far more aggressively on this platform, there literally is no room for mistakes when you sign on with Star Plus. The actors understand that and deliver accordingly, but the captain of their ship seems to be a few steps behind the game.
