Reservoir Dogs Vs Kaante - Your choice?

Reservoir Dogs was a Hollywood movie released in 1992 directed by Quentin Tarantino.

Sanjay Gupta's Kaante released in 2002 was an unofficial Bollywood remake of Reservoir Dogs.

Kaante takes inspiration from other films as well like The Usual Suspects and Heat but the second half of the film is completely inspired from Reservoir Dogs.

Despite being a rip-off Tarantino praised Kaante for exploring the background of the characters and their motivation to commit the crime, something which wasn't there in Reservoir Dogs.

Reservoir Dogs. I liked it but not a Tarantino fan or anything( except for Pulp Fiction which was pretty good). Kaante was pretentious . Love the music though.

reservoir dogs a masterpiece and a classic. 5/5

kaante nevertheless was a pretty good adaptation of a classic 3.5/5
