But, a lawyers duties for his/her client is not limited to the courtroom, where they prosecute or defend their client. They also have to carry out official legal paperwork for their client, get/convince a witness, prepare the case. Paperworks often involve getting signatures of so and so, and entails enough bribing, whose cost the client has to bear. Getting/convincing a witness also commonly involves bribing the witness to testify in favor of their client. Preparing a case, it involves using the given evidences to build a believable case in favor of their client, no matter it is true or false. Only it has to be provable in the courtroom.
The day to day work of lawyers involve lots of bribing using the client's money and manipulation of evidences. I don't see why this work will not influence a lawyer's personality in general.
