Deepika out of Baiju Bawra due to equal pay demand

Dont think this is true, slb is the only director that has given deepika a higher renumeration than her male costars in both bm and padmavat. Apparently she is getting paid less than John for pathan and prabhas is getting 30 cr more than deepika for the sci fi movie they are doing, so I highly doubt renumeration is a reason she would back out of a film

Why are they hell bent on ruining Baiju Bawra? 😐

I dont think its true, deepika was paid more than rs for both bm and padmavat, rs even took a pay cut and went into profit sharing for those films, so it won't make sense for slb not to give her atleast the same amount as rs for baiju. Plus I dont think renumeration would be a reason for dp to back out of the film, coz apparently she is being paid 20 cr and prabhas is being paid 50 cr for the sci fi film they are doing, thats a huge pay gap. And she is apparently getting paid 10 crs for pathan and John is getting 15 cr, and John is not a bigger star than deepika

Now this sucks....because I don't believe in equal pay in BW.....the payment should be according to who the bigger crowd puller would be and definitely Deepika is the bigger one than John for sure..

For any other kind of job which are based on skills and knowledge...equal pay is a must.

The pay gap between dp and prabhas is too much aswell, a 30 cr difference is alot

Does she really deserve higher pay? She is not that great. Once these films flop, then she will not be boasting so much. 🤣
