Hmmm, I get it, but truth be said, I would rather have the crass flirtish play-acting (for the sake of the singers) than the suggestiveness which is actually far more powerful and personally damaging. Suggestive ploys are very shrewdly placed like subliminal marketing and it plants an unconscious doubt in viewer minds. I found that comment of HR quite unwarranted at that point- it was invasive of Arunita’s privacy. It is there in regional reality shows too these days. But it is new for them and is more suggestive than the crass stuff being doled out at Sony. Something like at the start when HR said Arunita was watching PD play dholak and not watching Anjali. That's about their limit.
Like your opening comment mentioned, I genuinely hope contestant selection does not factor in such capabilities in the future. That would be a fall for music.
