I must say, I found my lost respect for Sree today, when she clearly said, that she doesn't want love from Ratul in a forced situation like this one. He shouldn't fall for her only because she's his wife and he has no choice. Such a refreshing perspective, true to Sree's character, in an age where other female characters spend one half of the show trying to impress their husbands who they ended up with because of a force marriage.
@green: Maybe not be! Two tasters from Bangalore and Bombay have arrived and it is they who take the final decision. Unless Tess does some devilry behind the curtains, she might not have that strong a say.
@blue - Sree had lost herself in this marriage and now that she's resurfacing, I just wanna salute her! She is the Sreetoma Modak we had come to appreciate and love for her strong morale and quality for voicing out her opinions without fearing the society.

All jokes apart, that sounds like something she would say! And damn if I say I don't like it. Kudos to the writer for coming up with such a strong female character in the ITV world consisting of sacrificial queens a.k.a Mahanta ki Devi's. We have hundreds of them, but one Sree can surpass them all with a single dialogue 😊
