For me a singing show is incomplete without a female contestant from Bengal. So many great talents.

I actually was referring to past associations when I said they were together. Even now Arunita has only handful of Ig friends friends, but one of them is Neelanjana.

Females are encouraged to learn in many households if they have any talent. It is easy to find teachers. So many people in Bengal. So, logical 😊

Neelanjana did not make a cut for srgmp bt she was in voice, but i remember her watching in a show which is not voice😆 she didnt go to final in srgm or what?

Agree with you Arunita et al are just a tip of the iceberg in Bengal every house must be having one , Mr Bacchhan had mentioned it in KBC that music is encouraged in Bengal the land of melody .

Once upon a time in Maharashtra every girl was encouraged to study music and was a pre requisite to please the would be in laws, with changing times it has taken a back seat now or I could be mistaken.

Bengal, Maharashtra and Tamil nadu worship music.
