not really, you can check any channel slots for it. sometimes you have a high TRP show preceded by a low one or vice versa. For instance Tarak gets an average 2+ trps , Aladdin after it during its last year only had TRP somewhere between 0.6/0.7 while WKD now has 1.2

PS has a trp of 1.7/ 1.8 on average, gets 2 sporadically while Ghum succeeding it has on an average 2.5+ TRP

I would say yes to an extent.

Especially if the show before has a good element of synergy with the next one.

For example, I'd say YUDKBH at 10.30 would definitely have benefitted from KBC at 9-10.30 because folks who watch KBC are mostly in the middle-age group, and that is the segment who would naturally like YUDKBH.

It's one of the reasons I wouldn't have been too unhappy with a slot change to 10.30 for IPZN. It's not as much a natural fit as YUDKBH, but it would definitely benefit from KBC's viewership. Especially if the channel ran regular promos for their other shows during KBC.

I know US shows have this kind of strategy considering demo as thats their prime rating but does this work here?

@bold if we consider this, how would you even gauge take SP for instance, how would you prepare their roster?

I had never thought about the show that comes before could affect a shows trps but a member mentioned it today in another forum which made me curious
