I agree to that....but aren't we viewers to be blamed most ???Those 45,000 houses are licking up those regressive content...they can throw those shows in the bin...naah!! they will stick to it like fevicol....and won't bother to give a new good content to flourish.It's all about business...if the PH and channel sees that the regressive stuff are not working ...those 45,000 houses are throwing them out...then they will obviously try for progressive stuff and stand by it.The channel are here for money not for fans emotion...harsh truth!!At the end viewers like us....who craves for something out of the box ,suffers.
Yes apart from Anupama no other trp toppers tops their chart. I don't know how uk shows trps calculated but read somewhere India's population is large compared to uk so can't compare trp system of both countries.
The thing is India's trp system should be changed. Earlier the system was manged by some organization they sold the things to barc in 2015 or 16 so that large sample size to be taken. But they had not changed the sample size and continued with 45000 households only. And before trp audiences producers and channel need to take the steps. They have to bring quality content instead of saas bahu and sautan 😡

Agreed this is where severe compromises are done with the content… someone should seriously fight to change the old trp system.
