I remember Rahul Saxena from mid 90s SRGM OR P SERIES. Waaay back when he sang “ Upar khuda” 👍👏😍

not sure if stage performing is good or bad. As long as he is still singing good. Some singers completely disappear or get worse not doing their riyaz.

Remember the singers who came out of SRGM/P were into classical singing too. Shreya, Vijay Prakash, sanjeevani, Shekhar, Parthiv, Ronkani gupta, Soma Bhattacharya & others. Today’s kids have more exposure & opportunities than b4 IMHO JUst like any other field 🙂

Oh yes..Remember all of them. Rahul vaidya was my favourite.

SRGMP challenge had some good talents. Raja Hassan, vineet.
Amanat Ali of Pakistan was v good. His ‘tujhse naraaz nahi zindagi’ is classic. No one has rendered this number so well in any show, even PD disappointed me here. Even now when I watch that clip I tear up.

Aneek won that season - not so deserving, I felt.

That was the first time they had Gharanas with each judge as the mentor. And Poonam yadav was in Ismail Darbar’s Gharana. And he took adv of her 😳

Vineet & Rahul vaidya had great chemistry though they were from diff shows. I think they came together for Music ka Maha Muqabla

There was one Hrishikesh who married a fellow contestant Prajkta Joshi ( forgot which show)

I have seen Amit Tandon in some serial. Not so great in acting

Debojeet not deserving winning C05 but may be Onik Aneek of C07 sang only Sonu songs. No versatility.

Nihira, Raktima, Amanat, Raja, Mohd Irfan, Poonam, Hemachandra, Vinita, Pratibha singh & many others.

The first time i ever seen a long competition between 2 contestants was Gaurav Bangia (Rafisaab fan) & dr. Neha Rajpal. In 90s. Woh bhi kya din the 👌🏽👍😍👏🏼
