I thought, just for my peace of mind... I have become the script writer for MHRW. So here is how I'm gonna do disaster management.

The episode had ended where VM takes Pallavi with him to the Deshmukh house.

Raghav, disconsolate and humiliated is pacing in his room. Jaya comes and tries to console him. He decides to go to Deshmukh House anyway. He reaches and overhears VD's request and Pallavi's acceptance. Heartbroken and depressed he leaves D house and returns alone.

Pallavi calls him later to let him know about the development and he listens to her but remains quiet. He agrees with her and cuts off the call abruptly before she could say anything else.

Pallavi stays over at D house for some weeks. She is initially oblivious to Mandaar's pretence but slowly she is feeling suffocated due to VD's increasing demands and Mandaar's obsessive behavior. She misses Raghav but when she calls him, Jaya tells her that he has gone abroad for some work and he'll call her when he returns. He doesn't want to poke his nose in her business and she can take all the time she needs to take care of Mandaar.

Pallavi is distraught. Yet she thinks that they'll make up when he returns. But now she has started to feel a bit afraid of Mandaar. His unpredictable bursts of temper and mood swings makes her feel highly uncomfortable of his proximity.

Then he goes too far one day and touches her inappropriately. She hits him back and calls the rest of the family. VD tells her Mandaar has done nothing wrong as she is his wife. Pallavi is appalled and shocked. She rages that she is Raghav's wife. No one has the right to her except him. She finally realizes what VD and Mandaar had planned together, to separate her from Raghav long enough thinking she'll return to them. She is horrified at the turn of events and berates them and then herself for falling into their trap.

She decides to leave D house then and there. Mandaar reaches to hold her back physically and gets a head whirling slap and a shove as reward. VD shouts at her and receives his share of slap from Sharda and a sound dressing down from her. Mandaar loses his cool and forcibly drags Pallavi off, punching through the people trying to stop him. He has a gun pressed to her head.

He takes her to a warehouse and tries to force himself on her. She fights back effectively breaking his nose and a lot of his ego. But another man joins them (that assistant.. forgot his name) and she is held back.

Suddenly Raghav appears with Farhad and the police. Raghav finally fulfills his heart's desire to pummel Mandaar into a pulp before the Police drag him off mainly to stop him from getting murdered. Pallavi is relieved, guilt stricken and overwhelmed all together. She falls into his arms crying hysterically. He soothes her somehow and reveals he had his men keeping vigil over Mandaar all this time.

They go back to Rao Mansion. Raghav takes her to his room and looks after her letting her ride out her trauma gently. She sobs and apologizes over and over again and he shushes her softly and lets her fall asleep in his arms. When she is sleeping contently finally, he lets himself cry.

Cry for her, for himself and for what the following morning will bring for them.

Next morning Pallavi wakes up to an empty bed and she calls out for Raghav feeling panic creep into her bones when he doesn't appear. She hits her ankle trying to run out and falls down abruptly wincing in pain. She imagines Raghav running towards her, like he always does when she hurts herself. But the illusion breaks.

Then she catches sight of a large box on the table top. Wrapped in a bright red paper with a beautiful red rose over it. She sees her name on the card kept above it. It's his handwriting. She feels ecstatic.

He has forgiven her...

The card has a single sentence written over it.

A gift of life, for the love of my life...

She opens the box eagerly and feels her heart stop.

Inside are the divorce papers signed and shelved neatly.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Except raghav slapping pallavi with divorce papers in the way you've described, baaki sab is perfect. I would want raghav to, with maturity, give her the divorce papers by listing out the entire grievance and his suffocation with the relation.

another ending could be not giving divorce papers but staying a little distant from her… concentrating more on his work and just being polite and no lovey dovey…

when his attitude bothers her and she questions him he could have simply said you made your choice I made mine… I was foolish enough to fall in love once but you know once bitten twice shy… so though I won’t go back on my words and will still give you every right as my wife because I am Raghav Rao, a man of words… don’t expect anything else… trust is a delicate thread… once snapped , it can’t be same as the old one.. best can be mended with a knot and that is not a smooth road to walk on….

Totally digging this damage control! 👏

Though I think distance is more warranted than divorce. Not the silent treatment wala distance, but rather: "I'm busy, you're busy, let's just work on finding a work-life-love balance in our lives instead of going at each of them like a raging bull."

I think both Pallavi and Raghav need a reality check from time to time as it's easy to take your partner for granted in any relationship. What sucks is that if their roles were even slightly reversed, Raghav would not be spared by anyone nor cut any slack. Pallavi can mask this negligence as insaaniyat and farz, but imagine if Raghav's ex showed up and needed him to stay with her to help her regain her health... boy, oh boy!

finding balance after this fiasco is difficult in reality… Being distant is not separation… she did a blunder and a big one too… in past she has stood up for the guy so many times.. Raghav will always remain indebted to Pallavi for resolving his issues with his mother…standing up for him when nobody was there but she never left a chance to remind him this (it looks like she did a favor instead of being a supporting spouse) .. he did marry her forcefully but he was under pressure too and he was habituated to get what he wants… once he realized his mistake the guy has humbled himself to a level that he almost become a different person…

I honestly prefer angry RR over the now subdued version .. he loved her and there is no doubt about that .. sure they can remain friends but marriage is not about agreeing to everything under the pretense of trust… she agreed to live in d house till Mandar gets well without even considering RR emotions… I know in show they will make Raghav running in circles around Pallavi but honestly I prefer him to switch back to devil may care attitude… I want him to find out about the oath in Mangla gauri function and then never come back or contact just the way we discussed here…
