I'm actually kind of annoyed that the writers turned it into insecurity thing. It's not just that. In the beginning he never once seemed insecure about Pallavi's love and his initial concern was that they would take advantage of her goodness, so how did this turn into an issue of him being insecure about her love? IDK. I don't think he has confidence in her love for him bc he finds himself lucky to have gotten her, but idk if that's insecure. Or maybe it is and I'm interpreting it wrong. IDK anymore LOL. I need a break LOL. 🤣

@bold, exactly. I don't know why more people aren't talking about this. Amma touched upon it slightly but they have yet to address this important factor. And Pallavi knows about his past. Hope she can connect the dots later.

The insecurity isn't because he doubts her love, it's because he knows Mandaar is evil enough to play nasty games to take her away and abuse her generosity, and maybe even harm her later on. That's why what he said on the phone to her made me annoyed. He himself was saying he was insecure but still didn't explain the main reason why. It has nothing to do with their mutual feelings.

He can ..

He too can pack his bag and go to D house and stay there...jahaan pallavi wahaan raghav...if not as a son in law, he can stay there as tenant, after all he has paid rent for that room...

raghav giving her cold shoulder yet protecting her , pallavi pacifying him...pallavi sneaking into the room late nights and sharing some private moments with raghav ...he is Raghav rao , he definitely can do a lot....

no I’m not justifying Pallavi’s behavior, I’m not siding with her, nothing of that sort

she got herself into this mess, her love for Deshmukh’s has gone way too far, her helping nature for humanity has started to hurt her finally

today she said she is also in pain, the first time she’s said that since mandar has come into their lives

She finally feels the pain Raghav has been going through for the past few days, when Pallavi was with mandar

and it WILL last

she’s about to pay the price for her actions today, for agreeing to help that creep, she’s about to pay big time

They dumbed down her character so that they can bring her back now

Pallavi isn’t Pallavi Deshmukh anymore she is Pallavi Raghav Rao

She’s about to see the truth of Mandar, Raghav can only hope she doesn’t get hurt physically now

And I’m sure she will figure out that Mandar is faking his illness, and she will see his advances to separate her and Raghav

until now she didn’t see it because she was living with Raghav, she was with him, but now she will! She’s in pain too that she’s staying away from him

But now mandar is flying high, he’s thinking he’s “won” Pallavi

He’s already started to distract Pallavi, he’ll do the suicide drama, then he will do something at the party I’m assuming

he won’t be able to hide his anger/fear that Pallavi still loves Raghav

and after a while that will instill doubt in her mind

Raghav will do what he can to soothe Pallavi, spend some good moments with her, keep an eye on that leech to make sure he doesn’t do something dirty

But it’s time for Pallavi Raghav Rao to come back

I wish people would recognize how mentally damaged he actually is - that too caused by his own mother leaving him. They have not touched on his abandonment issues at all yet it's the underlying reason behind why he is the way he is about those he loves. I'm not saying that absolves his actions - he's too impulsive and that's what made him mess up and mess up he did, big time - but just like how everyone can understand Pallavi is someone who is easily emotionally manipulated because of her kindness, people need to understand that deep-rooted insecurities aren't just things someone "get over" that quickly. It takes years sometimes, and that too with professional help, for people to get over those kinds of issues.

Pallavi does know about his past, but she's not a psychologist/therapist/etc., he needs to get his issues sorted and tell them to Pallavi. He can't adequately communicate his issues to her, and she can't read his mind. But to even do that first, he needs to recognize them himself.

TBH I don't have much faith in the writers for making the story this nuanced. They're only focusing on his insecurity of losing Pallavi to Mandar. DivyaaaV made a good point that they're showing how it turned into that type of insecurity - which I can understand. But I don't know if they'll ever go into why or even connect it to his abandonment issues. I think at most they're only going to connect to him not thinking he's good enough for Pallavi.

TBH the more I think about it, the more I wish this track happened before they confessed their love to each other. It would've made everyone's actions a lot more palatable.
