Virat: alta track telling Karishma to drag Sai down, unpopular opinion but during holi he wanted to confess all of a sudden, felt so rushed to me and made no sense, no fikar at all when throwing 2 women out (like not even basic courtesy, will they be safe etc), then telling not to talk about it when Sai started, dialogues such as don't talk about baf stuff when Sai was telling about mental harassment, saying women have to adjust after marriage, saying that she has to remember that she's shaadi shuda aurat, that she should return home from college like achi ladki, now in the hospital scene telling that she shouldn't have run and baith kar baat kar lete, saying mein aapka nazaria samj saktha hun to Kaku, saying to Omi that he'll not arrest him if they accept Pulkit and don't talk bad about Sai but still such a fiasco happened when Devi-Pulkit came for lunch and still never took strong stand for Sai
Sai: not telling about Pulkit kidnap, hiding the truth from Virat, making Devi Tai elope, now being so nice to Cgang and Pakhi didi telling that she calls her didi because she actually thinks like that, forgiving vultures like that during DevKit track, gifting Ninad harmonium by spending 50K at him
Virat for me is a kind, righteous, emotional man. He hates confrontations and for him jo baat hogi so hogi, no point in talking about past. His family has always had high expectations from him so he never felt really understood, he has never had the chance to be himself. He grew up in a very toxic and regressive family leading to him being a very calm, forgiving, adjusting person in general. A lot to him is normal that shouldn't be eg the taunts, the strict rules, the mental harassment etc but he still has a good moral compass. He's usually blinded when it comes to his family and even Sai. Sai is the one who brings out some of his sides that he himself didn't knew existed, be it being playful, nautankibaaz or gussa. He's very caring and thinks of Sai as an individual with her own rights.
Sai is extremely righteous and will always stand up for what's right and never ever let any injustice happen, infact she'll go a step further and deliver justice too. She treats person the way they treat her, no matter samne wala kaun hai. But she never holds grudges against anyone, she's extremely kind hearted. Her father gave her all the freedom leading her to being independent, muhfat which I really love but he never corrected her for her mistakes so at times she'll create an unnecessary tamasha, say extremely hurtful things that shouldn't have been said. She's a joyous, chirpy girl who believes in seeking happiness in little things. She thinks with her mind unlike Virat but when it comes to family she'll go to any extent for them.
The only way I'm still able to love Sai and Virat despite all the above mentioned mess up from writers is by watching with amnesiac mindset and attributing these messups to a shitty writing rather than breaking my head over it and enjoy Neilsha's performance!
