I think it was also Ekta who didn't want it on Sony. DHTH was not supposed to air on Sony in the first place if I remember correctly. Karan fans went crazy because he was coming with a fictional series after so long so I think considering everything, they went ahead with making it available on both Sony and ALT. Ekta perhaps knew that the story will be compromised if it continued on Sony hence that shift.

I didn't like a lot of things in both S2 and S3 tbh😆 I think one of the reasons I stuck to it was because it didn't harp on and on about sanskaar which happens in all ITV shows and was pretty chill with its language and romance scenes😆 Season 1 was the best one imo. S3 has the best songs though. Most ALT Balaji shows have good songs.
