As it was clash of ideologies love story was also important so they had to start it off but because the serial had to shut and there wasn’t enough time they rushed everything. I feel salty about Mr Bhalla redemption too..

Astha shaan still there is a chance to see in season2 if at all there is.. but what about Mr Bhalla?

Episode 2

Anokhi staring at trophy mentally manifesting it to hers.Aastha's words inspire Anokhi..."If you dream it you shall win it."

Anokhi says she has so many expectations from herselves..and passionate about her dreams.

As Aastha puts it many girls dreams are burnt in pyre of marriage and girls compromise on their dreams under family pressure.

Anokhi aspires to be Aastha but Aastha says not be like someone but be like yourselves......This is a raw nerve of Aastha which still hurts her and she does not want her student to have same fate.

Shaurya Cribbling, complaining about Shagun but Shaan s support to Shagun like girls is great.

All this is the effect of Shaurya's childhood conditioning. It would take a long time for him to overcome it.

He is trying to give some sense to his son that his ideologies and rigidity is wrong. He is questioning his belief system, his principles which do not stand a chance in these mifern days.Hailing from a family who runs a prestigious institution have such low thoughts.Shaurya shuts his father by quoting Aastha as an example and Shaan is hurt.He says that Shaurya us stubborn like his mother.

Shaan is the only Saberwal male who believes in gender equality but sadly he could not go against his family and support his wife. He was trying make Shaurya understand that there is nothing wrong in Shagun pursuing higher education and he should not break the engagement because of this reason. But Shaurya is very clear, he accepts that there are many ladies who manage both family and career but he wants only a housewife. He does not want a career woman because of his childhood abandonment issues.

Shaan asks Devi to speak sone sense to Shaurya but TejVi twist shaan's words and humiliate him.Shaan is all alone in the big family.Shaan helpless words that he could not say anything to his wife and Shaurya does not listen to him...A good man sandwiched between mother and son.

Tejvi taunting Shaan about Aastha and the sacrifice they made for Shaurya. Did Tejvi really make a sacrifice? Was Shaurya the reason for them not having any children of their own? And Shaan is also partly to be blamed. Just because Aastha left him he cannot become an alcoholic and neglect his son. In the end Shaurya did not get both his parent's love.

Anokhi's father snd Anokhi has heated conversation and Ramaa intervenes but insults thrown her away.

When Anokhi fights with her father Mr Bhalla blames her mother for Anokhi's behavior. Always a mother is blamed for whatever mistake the daughter does or whenever she raises her voice against the family.

Ramaa slaps Anokhi but later tries to console her.Mothers and their way of dealing issues at home are strange.Anokhi trying to spread her wings while her father wants to cut them .Anokhi says if someobe tries to cut her wings she will fly away.

Romi bhalla again insults Rama calls her hypocrite but she endures everything quitely.Zamaane ka dekho kya dastoor....What lovely lines.

Precap.Shakhi s first epic first meet.

We get a deeper insight of the Saberwals mentality in this episode. And tomorrow ShaKhi will be meeting for the first time. I have replied in blue.

Nice reviews girls. So papa Bhalla is making moves to cut the wings of our dreamer jugni Anokhi who wants to fly away for herself and her mom and there on the other side our sulker Shaurya has broken his engagement much against his papa's wish and cementing his hatred for his mom and dad for abondoning him as a child.

Wish there are ASTHA'S for all the ANOKHI'S out there dreaming of wings to fly high.

One thing I realised that in the initial episodes atleast from the second episode anokhis story is given more importance than shauryas .She has more screen presence as well. Also considering how orthodox rami bhalla is in the initial episodes and his sudden transformation in ep 150 felt like too sudden .They should have shown it in a better way by giving the transformation some more time .

It's more common to see the women sacrifice their identity than men. This is probably why Aastha's choice rankles many.

Starting episodes always form a base for further episodes. I will start with sabrawals. Oh my god bade papa badi maa what soch you have. Shaan was right. They shouldn't talk like this as they themselves run educational institution. Shaurya wanted a homemaker is okay but forcing shagun to choose is not okay. She want to study. They are telling shaurya's mother left him for her career and shaan became alcoholic. I think this may be the reason shaurya is behaving in such a manner. It's not about study career it's like abandonment issues. I remember dear zindagi dialogue isse pehle wo tumko reject kare tum unko reject kar deti ho. Same with shaurya shagun just want two years. But it was shaurya's fear she will come back or not, she will move on in London etc. So he reject her before she thought of rejecting him.

Great point about Shaurya rejecting before being rejected. After being outright rejected by his mother, it's a coping mechanism to prevent any future pain. He seems not to be invested in the relationship anyways since he can make such a cut throat decision so fast. His abandonment issue shine through.

Now coming to bhalla family. Anokhi's dialogue were good. Her mom does so much for everyone still no respect. It was like kuch acha hua toh because of Mr bhalla and kuch bura hua toh mrs bhalla is responsible 🙄. Anokhi mom slap her 😱 then pampered her okay it was her way to stop the things going out of control.

All the compliments to the father and the complaints to the mother!!

Anokhi astha scene. Astha's dialogue muje dar lagta tum jaisi bright student ke liye shadi k mandap mai sapne swaha etc etc. I disagree with her here. There are many girls whose fight for their dreams after marriage, some get support from husband family. Even there are some girls whose get actual aim of their life after marriage. Yes there are many girls like that whose dreams get destroyed after marriage but there are some other examples also. Dialogue writer should be careful while writing this kind of dialogues. Just to upgrade one thing you can't degrade other aspects. (It's just my pov many members may not agree with it but I think it's okay opinion differs).

So I will disagree here. It true that women can have a life after marriage. But in general, desi society has a time table for a girl. You finish a certain level of education(so that you're marketable), get married, be the perfect daughter in law, and then produce children. If you deviate from this schedule it's because a man is letting you, like a father or husband "allowing". And this is what Anokhi fights against. If she has independence before marriage, she has choices. Unlike her mother who can't even leave her abusive husband because her maayka doesn't want her and she has no way to take care of her children without the support of a spouse.

I like what you said about different pov. I might not understand others pov but i respect the right to everyone having their own thoughts and beliefs as long as it doesn't infringe on my rights.

Yes mostly in a patriarchal society it is expected that the women sacrifice for the family . Although things have started changing these days but very slowly.
