Look, I think Abhishek is an average actor at best. I hate nepotism, and I definitely believe his career would have been over within around 2/3 years if his father wasn't Amitabh Bachchan.

However, he is not a disgrace to his fathers legacy. At all. Seems like a nice enough guy, so what if he's not an amazing actor? Do we really need to go around spewing this type of vitriol?

On a human level, from what we can see as outsiders looking in I would actually say Abhishek is better than his father.

He's a shadow of his father. Always will be. No great shakes an actor.

He is a mediocre actor who has no star factor like his father, the three Khans, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh. But he is not a disgrace.

He is an amazing actor and no one can change my views about it. Stop calling him a disgrace when we know how Amitabh Bachhan was. Abhishek is very much a family man and very attached to his wife and daughter. Currently he is getting very much appreciated for his skills and it's good that he took time to polish them. Unlike the Khans who now are nowhere to be seen, atleast Abhishek has given OTT releases and has been in talks for the same. So guys chill a bit.

Yes he couldn't continue his dad's affair legacy so I think he is a much better person in whole and a gentleman who I adore.

Even if Abhishek was as successful as the Khans, people would have said the same thing.

People like Amitabh and Sridevi are once in a lifetime type stars. It's not easy to replicate that.

Abhishek did fairly ok. He didn't become a superstar like Amitabh but he had a fair share of success and remained relevant for twenty years and didn't lose his way in the process. The way he conducted himself throughout was also pretty cool.

Absolutely Abhishek would be a very successful if he wasnt related to and compared to AB Sr. in everything he does on screen.

Of all the nepokids he has/had the biggest brand. He could have done, said anything & everything behaved like a privileged brat à la alia, sara, ranbir, ananya, arjun, ranveer, sonam etc. And could get away with it; Instead he is comes across one of the most genuine and polite person with zero contoversies and no foot in mouth statement to stay relevant

My thoughts exactly! Pretty much nailed it.

In real life Abhishek is a far better human being than his father ever was or ever will be. He has way bigger and better character than his dad who could have been behind bars for his role in Bofors, Panama, Paradise leaks and inciting violence against Sikhs in 1984. Abhishek has never made sexist statements the way his dad did nor has he restricted his wife or cut her wings the way his regressive dad did to his mom.

So NO. Abhishek is not a disgrace.

Yes he has not succeeded like his dad onscreen and has no popularity, stardom, charisma, acting chops, screen presence as his dad. His professional failure does not make him a disgrace.

Sons of Raj Kapoor never came close to his stardom and iconic status but it does not mean they were disgrace.

Hema's daughter never attained 0.1% of her success nor has her looks, but it does not make her disgrace.

Bobby has not achieved stardom of his father and brother but it does not mean he is disgrace to Deol legacy.

Twinkle and Rinke are not a disgrace to legacy of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia just because their films failed.

Disgrace is too harsh a word to use.

Looks, personality or professional success are not in anyone's hands.

Character matters. How you manage your life despite all odds, matters.

Abhishek has not committed crimes nor is he into drugs nor has bad manners. He has impeccable manners, etiquette in real life.

The only ones who can be called disgrace to legacy of their parents are criminals like Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan. Their professional success or hits do not make up for what they did in real life. Sanjay especially tarnished name of Nargis and Sunil Dutt with his drugs, underworld links, illegal weapons, womanizing ways and open threat to kill journalist on national TV. Kapoot in real sense.

Disgrace.. how? Just cause he couldn't become as successful as his dad, which in itself is a biggg task 😅 He would have been a disgrace if he got into drugs and partied/wasted his dad's money away. AB seems like a genuinely nice guy and chilled person.
