Glad you raised this. Be it suicide or accident, I wasn’t happy that Sai will have to get hurt for Virat to realise his folly. Are they saying that Virat will realise his mistake only if something like this happens? What would have happened if she had not met with an accident?

I wasn’t happy that he realised his mistake last time only when he found that Pulkit was telling the truth and Devi was his wife. He didn’t even think that he had ousted two women in the middle of the night but started to feel sorry only when he came to know that Sai was right about Pulkit. The main reason or the problem was never raised or addressed.

Even now, he will sorry to have put Sai’s life in danger, what about the actual problem? What about his insecurity? What about him trying to communicate to her why he reacted this way, why he is jealous, who she is to him and what he wants from her.

Your words below 👏👏

“It could have been an opportunity for confrontations, bitter truths, hard-hitting questions and difficult decisions.” Have the makers heard of anger management classes - this could have been a way to educate society. Instead they decided to go for maximum drama - get the poor girl into a coma

It is indeed insensitive to have chosen this path. I agree, they could have adopted a better way of solving the underlying issue.

Will an accident change the fact that a girl felt she was accused of being characterless and the guy thought she was involved with another man be it physically or emotionally ? How will they live with that ? How will they get back to normal ? 😕

Will he start keeping a check on his anger issues.. only when he sees his wife on the death bed??

I don't see how he is going to get redeemed for what he did today..

Definitely accident is not ok. Like you said since the makers were going this route accident was only better than suicide which would have been 100 times worse.

I am still not ok with what Virat did and don't want Sai to forgive him that easily

I mean it's possible to redeem but not that quick. See when Sai was ousted, I wanted his redemption, repentance...wanted Sai to take her time to forgive. But the next week they were romancing again after Virat getting shot. I am sure something similar will happen again. Accident karwake patch up karwao. 😳

I agree with you. Even though this push was needed for SaiRat but it was a dreaded push which cost someone's life. Still as a fan of a fiction I am happy that they scraped suicide.

I always say I can connect with Sai more than anyone in this show. I have come across many married girls of her age in my uni going through so much as her. I know this girl who isn't even allowed to have a chat with us after classes.Virat said once "Just do your classes and get back home like a good girl ".It may sound so romantic from a overprotective lover but reality is harsher than this. I know someone died after 6 months of her marriage due mental torture. We always complain for Sai's impulsiveness but this is what keeping her going in this toxic environment. She has openly blurt about Virat and Pakhi but was this entirely wrong??

If one can do anything behind the door then why are you ashamed to admit it in public. She gave a tight slap for those in our society who thinks a man is entitled to do anything but all rules reserved for only for girls.

Added few more things.. .

This can be the golden chance for Sai to leave Virat. Now it's up to her whether she is capable enough to deal with her husband's over possessive nature or leave the battle before it starts. Virat should learn that anger can cause many unexpected things that we never imagined. He is worse than Sai handling sentiments when he is emotionally messed up. This insecurities are already swoon it's seeds inside him. Damage is done. How they both going to overcome with this

@bold it was just regressive to watch. I am hoping Aai calls him out about how it's ok for him to behave which ever way he wants with p , but for Sai has different set of rules

For me, there was absolute relief that suicide was scrapped. But yes, this TRP drama of an accident, for the ML to come to his senses is always overdone.

The fact that last time, Virat realised his mistake only after getting proof was and will always be a sore point. Likes, if there was no accident today, would things have got sorted out ??

They should not show any romance anytime soon 😑 , it would be an insult to Sai and the trauma she just went through.

Why should there be a glorification of death or 'dying for love'? There could have been more useful and honest ways to look at the fallout.

It could have been an opportunity for confrontations, bitter truths, hard-hitting questions and difficult decisions. Have the makers heard of anger management classes - this could have been a way to educate society. Instead they decided to go for maximum drama - get the poor girl into a coma so that emotions and sentiments of the audience can be milked.

It is actually an insensitive thing to do. Because at the end of the day - no relationship is worth losing your life.

I completely agree with everything you have written here, Nethra. This could have been a groundbreaking moment for their relationship even if they had just fought it out. Neil and Ayesha shine in their confrontation scenes and are able to get so much emotion across. The Ladhak fight and college fest fight are still two of my favorite moments until date...and both of them marked a turn in their marriage.

On another note, I am actually quite worried as to where this track is headed now the more that I think about it. In KD, no one dared to question Emon's character after she attempted to take her own life. Here, everyone is shameless and is continuing to do so in the hospital even as she battles between life and death. Once she recovers from the accident, are their doubts going to remain? Are they going to continue questioning her and talking badly about her? Is Pakhi therefore going to get away with everything? I know these questions will be answered this week, but I'm really hoping that they find some way to tackle the actual issue like you have pointed out..
