But the doll was seen in the episode. The cheetah won’t run on its own na? So they got the cheetah to chase the doll and also keep its focus on it and not the contestant who is running from opp direction. Or am I missing something here?

Having a real cheetah running in front of you is dangerous though

It is not cheating they always try to guide the animals they are trained animals and that are their cues to perform the stunts exactly as directed or palnned otehrwise how do you think a cheetah will always run in the same Line as soon as gates open.. ROfl.. it is simply handling and training them..

Last gif is clearly showcasing how they edited the fake cheetah to show both cheetah and participants crossed at the exact SAME TIME.

So actually they had the cheetah follow the meat piece but the finish line thing is definitely edited. Actually if you see in Arjun's case, the cheetah went diagonal towards the meat and was running irregularly. That finish line scene is definitely edited but maybe the rest of it isn't. I think there was a lot of distance between the contestants and the cheetah's path, they were too far apart for the cheetah to be a real danger to the contestants. The camera angles are such that we feel they are running towards each other, they're just running towards each other's direction but too far apart.
