bekaar plotline. people do get obsessed with cases but don't get into a sexual relationships with suspects in the same case.

From a cop's perspective, I can understand his obsession about wanting to catch her while knowing that she was the real murderer. But the whole romantic angle threw me off. That part was poorly conceived in my opinion. If they were trying to go for the lust route, even then it didn't work out too well.
