This is where the problem lies - characterization. Chavans are not horrible to Sai because they think she is a bad person or that they are old-fashioned - it is who they are. Ashwini fits the bill for a sanskaari, aadarsh bahu - she is soft, doesn't question authority, slogs away for the family - she gets the same treatment as Sai. Which proves that its all about power and nothing to do with their perception of people.

She isn't like other ITV bahus.Still she does things her ways unapologeticly.But really couldn't connect because Ninad doesn't deserve this gesture from Sai and Knowing sai who has been always righteous, up front should not melt down towards him.They could not think of any other ways whirtwashening Ninad .Story is turning superficial day by day

One thing I wish had been slightly different was Sai instead of saying that aapka haq banta hai because you are older n when kids make mistakes, you can correct it, i wish she had said- aap mere aabaa jaise hai toh agar aap kabhi pyaar seh daant bhi denge toh chalega. Because Sai's daant from trimurti has always been misplaced, malicious unlike virat/Ashwini.

I feel that makers want to show Trimurti and Didi as grey characters just like Neil said in a IV all ghum characters are grey but they made the grave mistake of showing them first as vile and abusive, copy paste and unnecessary creativity ke chakkar mein. If they had toned down the vileness a bit from the beginning, if they had showed their goodness earlier thoda would have been so good. Eg Kaku serving everyone on Sai's bday, they could have shown that in earlier episodes too and added more such little, but sweet moments. Now it's just too hard to believe that they have been like that all along, if they where like that why didn't they focus on it earlier?! During Devi-Kaku-Harinee reunion I learnt to watch with an amnesiac mindset in order to enjoy the episodes and have been doing that since and watching the episodes as a standalone.
