don't worry he is the director only not the writer or creatives of the show. The writer writes the plot and dialogues. Director only job is smooth execution of the scenes or screenplay

This new director is experienced one. He will guide the actors well.At least we will not get the rushed raghvi scenes like earlier.

Of course I do know what’s written is more important. Was wondering about execution only cos now I’m sorely disappointed with the rushed and half baked RaghVi scenes. What you’ve said gives me hope that RaghVi scenes will be taken slowly and given time.

The old director was simply trained under Hemant but the experience really matters. I'm glad we have an experienced director now. I was really disappointed with the way scenes were happening. The hospital one was such a glaring mistake. One min pallu crying and another minute smiling at the bill counter

Anyways the script decides everything not the director. But I'm sure his experience will help us as even our leads aren't experienced. They both are new. They need a experienced director to guide them.

I remember an actor saying once that ‘theatre is a actor’s medium, tv and films a director’s medium’

So if the director is good it will be a win win for us,as writers are already good here.

Plus, in his previous show he did a good job with the leads

My main concern is, in Ghum they kinda maintain 2 feet distance in an intimate scene also , don't know if it's bcz of the actors or the director.. I just hope it doesn't happen here..

It's because in that show leads have never been shown romantically and sexually attractive to each other whereas here we have from the very 2nd day episode they were touching each other. Remember raghav wiping the sweats off with pallavi pallu. And then he sleeping on her stomach. It's all in the writing department . Director job is to execute them well and this new one is experienced one. He will surely take it one step above

I think it will be fine.

Ghum is a toxic show by nature. It's core is toxic but the director still does a good job.
