I am back with an OS. It is a short one and I am not sure how it had turned up. Please read and let me know your thoughts on it. Thanks to all those who read, reacted and commented on my previous SaiRat OS.

Virat woke up hearing a blast and instantly ducked beside his bed out of habit. Opening a secret drawer under his cot, he pulled out his spare gun and bullets. He quickly loaded it and peeped above his bed to check for the origin of the blasting sound. He saw Sai sitting on the floor and picking up a few rupee notes and coins in the middle of a piggy bank remaining.
He gave a disapperated sigh and kept the gun back in the drawer after unloading it properly. He got up from the floor and walked towards Sai. She is busily counting the rupees and hence didn’t notice him. He too sat beside her, keeping his right hand under his chin. Still, she is not acknowledging his presence.
“Ahem” he made a noise, but no response. He sighed heavily but again failed to grasp any attention. Her eyes, mouth and hands are all working busily like they were professionally trained. He thought for a moment and then with a smirk, he placed his two fingers - index and middle - on the floor. Walking them slowly to an orange color note, he picked it up swiftly. Within a fraction of second, Sai caught his wrist and glared at him. He rolled his eyes and tried to control his laugh.
“ACP Virat Chavan sir! Since when have you become a thief?” she asked in a surprised tone.
“Since you started blasting my morning like a terrorist!” he responded nonchalantly.
She blinked and looked down leaving his hand.
“I was just opening my piggy bank” she reasoned out with a small pout.
“Oh… I heard people usually use hammers or some heavy object to break open the piggy bank.” he said while giving her the rupee note.
“I know. I searched for some solid object but nothing can be found in this room.” she said in a sad tone.
“Really. Did you check thoroughly? Because I know one here” he asked with wide eyes.
“Where?” she asked curiously.
“Here!” he poked her forehead suddenly, laughing like a lunatic.
“The thickest head I have ever seen,” he said in an amused tone while tapping her forehead like doing a quality check. She glared at him and swatted his hand.
He laughed out loud seeing her reaction but she simply rolled her eyes and started picking the notes again. He got annoyed when her attention shifted back to rupees on the floor.
This time he picked up a pink note and got up quickly. She gasped and immediately followed suit. She tried to take the note from him but he held up his hand high. She halted abruptly and started laughing like a maniac while holding her stomach. He was puzzled by her action.
“What happened,Sai? Is your stomach hurting? I know this will happen. You ate too much last night!” he asked without bringing down his hand out of carefulness.
She stopped laughing and glared at him.
“Mr. Accidental UPSC topper! Would I be laughing if my stomach hurts?” she asked, raising her eyebrow.
“How would I know? Since it is you, I could not come to any conclusion. Your words and actions never mean the same and always lands me in trouble” he said, shrugging her shoulders.
She got angry and turned around furiously. Fearing he may have offended her, he ran around and stood in front of her. She made a crying face and he got alarmed.
“Sai… Sai… Please, I am sorry...” he held both his ears in his hands making a puppy face. She smiled at him but before he got fully relieved, she pulled off the pink note from his palm and ran away after showing him her tongue out.
He was shocked but without wasting a single moment, he pulled her back like a pro and stole the pink note again. When she shrugged his hands off her and turned back to see him, he was standing ready with his tongue out mocking her.
When she furiously took one step near him, he immediately held up his hand making her laugh again. He got confused.
“Sai! Why are you laughing again?” he asked curiously.
“So you agree that I was laughing earlier, Virat sir?” she asked in an amused tone while folding her hands across her chest.
“Okay mumma! Just tell me the reason!” he surrendered but made sure that his right hand was still up in the air.
She moved closer to him and slowly placed her right hand over his chest making him gasp.
She smiled lightly when his heart started beating fast on her touch. She took one more step and stood so close to him that her nose almost touched his. He held his breath instantly and became rigid. She removed her hand from his heart and placed her index finger on his forehead that has started sweating now. She started moving her finger along the side of his face slowly towards his chin all the while whispering to him.
“I could not help but laugh, Virat sir when you think I could not reach up as you. Did you forget that I am as tall as you?” she asked with a smirk while tilting his head upward using her finger under his chin.
He blinked his eyes once he looked up and sure enough there was her hand near to his hand up in the air. Before he recovers and uses his pro strategy, she quickly pulled out the pink note from his hand and dashed out of the room.
He clutched his heart and tried to relax to slow down his racing heart. But it is as wild as his wife unable to tame. But, when he heard the clock strike eight, his heart raced for entirely some other reason. He remembered having a meeting with the DGP sir today morning and quickly ran inside the bathroom to get ready.
When he came back from the shower all dressed up, the room was all tidied up. He smiled, realizing that she had come up and cleared the mess she had created before going to the college. He wondered loudly what she would do to clear up the mess she had made in his head.
At the exact moment, his phone beeped. He took it from the bedside table and started reading the message received.
‘I am short of money and hence took 10,000 bucks from your wallet, Virat sir.’
His jaw dropped on reading the number. He blinked and read again but the number of zeroes remained the same. He quickly reached the wardrobe and took out his wallet. Sure enough, it was missing 10,000 rupees.
“10,000? What for?” he wondered but heard another ping.
‘I will tell you in the evening what was that for’
He rolled his eyes at her usual behaviour and moved back near his bed to wear his belt.
On hearing the beep sound again, he smiled and opened the inbox.
‘PS: It is not a loan my dear husband. I have the right to your money as your wife :P’
He smiled widely reading the message. Before he could stop himself, his fingers typed the message and hit send.
‘Then what about me? Do I too have the right on you, my beautiful wifey?’
He held his breath awaiting a reply. His phone beeped again. He got the reply too quickly for his liking. He gulped nervously and opened the message.
He gasped on reading her message and fell on their bed like a 90s heroine clutching his racing heart.
‘I don’t know. You show me tonight, my hot hubby’
He blushed reading the message again for the hundredth time and quickly sent a text to his office asking for a sick leave. He needs time to get ready for action, after all.
