We had a week full of AKT ka tashan

I loved the Imlie Adi scene.I was hoping they talk and they did. Imlie spoke. Yes and it was high time she did. She spoke to the person who she knows will hear her out and he did. ST was fabulous! That girl is so much talent!👏

I still do not like this entire idea of Best bahu...I do have other qualms on this track trying to prove a point, but will not go there today..not until this is completely played out.

Aparna Tripathi looked so ridiculous crying for the trophy of Best Bahu. I have spent half of my lifetime now out of India..but growing up in Des, I have never seen such labels to competitions. Yes societies had such competitions.....but they were generic. Best cooking, Best dancer--Best bahu?! Oh AKT and I have the exact same expression... lekin, kintu , parantu ...will cheer the Jhalli on!

Oh well, the bugels have been sounded in the society grounds...we all know our powerful Imliya ain't gonna be knocked down...cheering for Imlie...Go Imlie!

Good episode - loved most of it. The Adi Imlie second scene was lovely. The way he is putty before her and their acting is so subtle - her wide eyed cajoling looks (this girl and her many expressions - each one different and alag from the rest) his fake daant and finally his hidden smile (so reminiscent of the holi scene in hostel) the implication that he gave in to her request - so well done :)

The bahu competetion is starting to feel better - as even tho the concept is a bit icky the build up was done pretty decently. Imlie openly accepting her status in the family and the tacit understanding that she is their bahu - suddenly the ship sailed over to the other side :)

I feel for the dance - maybe they are supposed to do it with their partners and Imlie improvises since BBSB is probably stuck somewhere.

Looking forward to this week now :)

Imlie styling ummm...the girl can carry anything really ....but I felt her dance outfit could have been better. Why do they give such heavy feeling outfits - cant they keep her simple?

ST hits the ball out of the park so frequently, that I feel like inserting one line in her praise in almost every one of my reviews.😆 Her nuances in every scene stood out so well, be it when she was berating Adi for being idealistic, sunaoing the ladies with a straight face or even pleading her BS to become a cheerleader for her, she just has a pitara of expressions that she spills in every episode.

The T have now to an extent accepted the reality that Imlie is Adi's choice and will be their bahu, so they are right now just holding on to their anger for Adi having chosen Imlie over Malini. Their idea of a perfect bahu is being challenged right now and I feel that this track is going to show how bahu is not some showpiece to be decorated & put on a mantle, she is someone who gets along with the family & gives them the respect of bringing up her life partner to be a suitable husband in her life.

Loved today's setup for the competition and the reasoning they gave. It makes me excited to see what we get for the rest of the week as well.

I feel the styling will have a purpose and that it looks worse in the BTS than it will in the actual episode. WIll want to watch how it pans out before I comment on it in anyway.
