Ring - a gift from Virat or Virat the husband? Sai’s hesitation - Page 2

Not watched the episode yet but I love reading your views before the episode. That way I have a different perspective….especially as Hindi is not my language therefore things get lost in translation.

Completely agree that they are both very much in love and the few scenes I have seen with regards to the ring. Words are very powerful - though circumstances have changed and emotions have moved on those words are still a barrier.

Both need to have a open frank conversation in private without interruptions - sadly we know what is coming next. ❤️

Slightly busy so in a hurry..Just scribbled things in my mind here, since was tagged.

I have also previously mentioned, the whole age and buddha thing is going to trigger his jealousy. Sai is being insensitive there.. Sai's habit of not letting him complete was bothering me today. ANd Virat's question on touching feet was also irrelevant because he was so ecstatic when she touched his feet..

Also agree Virat has not control on his words when he is upset/angry...like today he just because she celebrated few moments with her friends, which all members who are open minded in his family were find with, he told BK that he doesnt know what is between them and if she would want to be Ajinkya's wife, if there is more between them.. That was crass...And this is just the start..

Sai is stuck there because she has been rejected and has been rejected really bad.. Imagine the man you are marrying, vows to not give you the haq...the moment he sees his ex, while performing his pheras with you. If you have seen the first time he mentioned about or koi ummeed mat rakhna, doctor banne k baad chale jana, all she said was aap dubara soch lijiye..The very first time she accepted this to be a deal was , when he kept talking about it while performing the rituals .. Not just that he came back to clarify his marriage to the same woman, called her mistake and the other woman his pyaari cheez..

One might think that with the current things the girls needs to forget it, but unfortunately he has craved it on her heart and he will have to delete it. The fear of rejection makes Virat to not come with the exact words, the exact communication and Sai wants just that... They both are so stuck there..😭

The whole ring thing bothered me like crazy..Is she going to give him back now or later , not sure..And the rings is so atrocious looking that they did not even pan the camera on it...Sai cannot keep wearing that ring..

Neil's portrayal when he was feeling bad about her words on the ring was so so heart touching.. You could feel the pain, one gets, the pain that you feel in the chest because of keeping it in for a long long time..He was really good today. Barring the few dialogues, I really liked the episode today..

All of Virat's past words and actions are hitting back at him now very hard. His words and actions might not be intentional but out of anger and emotions, but those words were enough for Sai to strengthen the deal marriage.

Love is there between them, no doubt, but insecurities also accompany it. Communication is the ultimate solution.

I have a lot mixed emotions about today's episode. Both of them were equally wrong. No one was the bechara/bechari type for me today. Both said alot of hurtful and insulting things to each other, directly and indirectly.

@last para yes. Sai started to joke about his age when he brought it up but it went overboard when she took him to the mirror. I could see a naughty Sai but she couldn’t see a hurt Virat. He got hurt and spoke a few things wrong. It was surprising to see her acting calm and explaining to him that she doesn’t think of him that way and she actually is very happy that he has done so much for him bringing up the ring thing. That immediately lifted his mood and he started to act like a child being recognised for what he had done. The uncertainty and the hesitation that I have written in this post made her not accept it from husband Virat. They both have kind of made the words husband and wife a joke that none of them are able to make sense out of it when the both are alone. He misunderstood what she meant or why she said that and got hurt and she got hurt with the reply which she had made him say. It was sweet of him to ask her not to remove it, ever. And when he said their relationship will end if she removes it, she immediately linked it to her leaving the house and thought that he probably means that and brought the topic of leaving the house. He got upset misunderstanding again, which she has brought thinking that’s what he meant by saying that and he had been very frank at the end. I loved the episode leaving out a few things. I could understand why every sentence was spoken. Won’t comment on Virat’s dialogues that arose due to jealousy. A part of me was upset with him, part felt sorry for him too. I think that’s why you have mixed emotions too 😊. They didn’t mean to hurt each other, was trying to understand each other but in a wrong way. Their helplessness and desperation made them speak things so that the other person assure them that there is nothing like that and that they want them in their life. Both were screaming and craving for each other from what I saw 😀.

True, agree to what you have written, and we all know that this exactly what Sai might have gone through. Cuz, heart is no wonder very innocent, very forgiving let's say, as it always thinks about all and everyone's happiness. But, that is not the case with brain, it is practical and alert. Always hatching a way to protect the owner of the brain, and unfortunately somewhere or the other, or in real as well, Virat's words have left a mark on Sai's brain, that too so deep, that the brain always makes the heart fear of every action by Virat, make the heart fear that it will get broken if she gets confronted by the truth. Maybe a semi conscious state, where she is also aware and might want to rejoice that Virat is doing this all for her, but she also wants to be alert, so that she doesn't get heart broken, that too a truth called Pakhi ,who and which is always infront of her eyes, reminding her of the reason of Virat's words, that too very strong and straight words .

Sairat are not dying, but they do hyperventilate sometimes due to lack of the much needed communication brigde.

Virat’s jealousy is 🤦‍♀️. Itna bhi kya jalna. But again, it is all new to him I guess. Their house is a conservative one. I can understand that. But he did go wrong in a few places.

That questioning on touching his feet was silly of him. He was acting childish but went overboard later. I can understand him, upset with him for a few things but also felt bad for him.

I felt bad for her when he linked her with Ajinkya and spoke.

I know, I got very upset. Covering it in episode analysis actually. I didn’t expect that. Why give ammunition to Kaku. Kaku could see through him during the whole time and even Pakhi could notice his discomfort.

I loved the episode today. Both made mistakes but I could see through both of them today and I enjoyed it.

I know I don’t write posts these days and just leave my comments in other’s threads. I thought many were very unhappy or confused about this scene, so thought of sharing my understanding.

And as usual, you have explained it beautifully in your own unique way 😊.

Ha ha ha, emotional is it? Didn’t expect that 😀. Today’s episode has become one of my favourite episodes. Would watch it many times after a long long time 😀. Yeah, Sairat are not dying.

Bold - 💯 Exactly what I felt. Communication is the essence here. They should end this misunderstanding by communicating with each other. Virat should initiate the communication and explain his past relationship and the waada, the deal being a mistake. He should convey how his feelings have changed over time. For her the deal is something carved out of stone, she must be convinced that it was a blunder from his part. Then she shall recognize his actions are out of love and not out of responsibility. Only after he unveils his entire past and the situations surrounding it, she shall begin to see him a new light leaving the past behind.

I know many are upset with many dialogues in today’s episode. I loved the episode even though there were a few things that I didn’t like in today’s episode. I am writing a post on today’s episode but decided to post this separately. This is my understanding of Sai’s thoughts, her emotions and state of mind when Virat gave her the ring.

Takes me back to the day Virat wanted to know why Sai gets affected or upset when he talks to Pakhi up. When he had said that he is not committed to anyone and not fulfilling his commitment, Sai had asked him if it was because he wanted it that way or he ended it thinking she would feel bad. Sai’s question on whether he got the ring as a husband who wants to show his love for his wife is a similar question. She doesn’t want to, because even when he said that he is not committed to anyone, she didn’t want it if he was doing it because she would feel bad.

Sai has always been accepting anything only when she is sure that Virat wants it. She was thinking why did Virat agree to fulfill the rasams when he didn’t want to. She has not liked him compromising on everything. She knows that he was forced to get married to her and that was proved by his conditions about the marriage. She realised that he didn’t marry her out of his own will but did it out of force and it keeps bothering her. When Virat had said that if he had never gone to GC, he would have never been in the position he was in during the DIG incident, she was hurt and very badly hurt. It wasn’t just the marriage, the revelation that he was committed to someone else that bothered her, but it was also that Virat had regretted to have even gone to GC and had to marry her out of force which had created an impact on her. He was anyway doing things out of force and his outburst only brought out his regret, anger and helplessness that he felt to have gone to GC and to be forced to take a decision that he didn’t want to.

Ever since that, she has always tried to ask him if he was doing it or if he wanted it or was doing it for the sake of others. The first time when he tried to stop her from leaving his room, she had asked this. Then when he was asking her to join Ladakh, she has asked the same. It was to get an assurance that he was doing it all out of his own will and wasn’t doing it out of formality or because that was what would be expected out of him as a husband.

Sai is a person of free will. She would do things only if she is okay with it, when her heart agrees to it. Be it continuing to live in CN without moving to hostel or cooking or applying Alta or returning to CN from hospital, or to apologise to Pakhi recently too, Sai has only listened to her heart and never did anything out of force, out of compulsion. The reason being her Dad who gave her the freedom, who let her do things that she is okay with, which she wants to do, not because he wanted her to. Hence, Virat doing things to please people or out of compulsion is incomprehensible to her. Sai wants Virat to do what he feels like, what he is okay with, not what he is expected to. She wants him to feel free to do what he wants and not do anything out of force or compulsion.

The marriage, the conditions, deal, his commitment and the fact that he didn’t want to get married but married her only out of force is so deep rooted in her, bothers her a lot that she doesn’t want him to do anything by him thinking that is expected out of him as a husband. She wants him to do anything only if he wants it. That is why she had raised this as an issue thinking he has once again got the ring as a husband since that’s what husbands are expected to, since that’s what wives might expect from their husbands, for the husband to gift them something nice.

The reason behind Sai saying she can accept it if it is a gift from him is because gift is not something one would get out of compulsion, they would have got it only when they want to gift them. Sai stopped him from speaking any further worrying if he would say that he got it as a husband and that she has to accept it as a wife, just like how he had stopped her from leaving the house. She doesn’t want to hear that from him.

She thought that he has once again done something like how he had ended his commitment thinking that Sai got hurt and affected. Sai got hurt and affected when she saw both Virat and Pakhi at the pool and she saw how Virat tried to know what was bothering her and even tried to give her explanations. Sai had stayed upset with him after reaching home too. He tried to talk to her but when he didn’t answer her questions, she thought that he wasn’t willing to give her an answer since she didn’t have rights to question him those and it ended in a different route when the topic of Samrat came up. And after the confrontation, when Virat tried to talk about it again, to clear the issue, he had spoken that he has no commitment and doesn’t fulfill anything. It only created doubts that all this had happened only because she got upset with him and after the confrontation, after she asked him about him and Pakhi. Hence, she asked him if he ended his commitment because she got upset but instead of answering her that, he started his own quest and asked her if she was really upset and why does she get affected if he and Pakhi talks.

Had he said that he wanted to get her the ring because he wanted to, she would have been happy. The husband and wife part confuses her because as she had said, if they were a regular couple, they would have been one long time ago. Which means that he would have married her and accepted her as his wife, out of his own will and not due to compulsion. Hence, when he said that he did get it as a birthday gift and she was thinking too much, there was no other reason for him to get it, she got upset because she had mistook it. That’s why she had said why did she even ask him that because it was as if she was making a fool out of herself by even asking him if he got it as a husband. That is why she had thought that he would have got it for Pakhi even if he had to. When he said that there can be no other reasons to get it, for her it looked like of course there can’t be any other reason to get it since he has feelings for someone else and can’t give that place to her. When Sai asked or refused to accept the ring, it was only so that he doesn’t give it out of formality as a husband that she might be expecting a gift from him, but at the same time, she didn’t expect this answer from him. She had no expectations from him but at the same time had got disappointed when she heard him. She didn’t like what she heard. He had said that it was only a gift which made her upset because to her it looks as if of course it has to be a birthday gift only because he can’t give the place he has once given to Pakhi, to her.

He said that because she wasn’t accepting the ring, so as to not freak her out or not make her uncomfortable or run away from him but she misunderstood that.

Both want the same but are getting hurt and confused to their own insecurities and misunderstanding. One has made progress but the other thinks that he is still stuck in the same place as when they started their relationship. The confusion will end only when both of them try, only when they are open, frank, straightforward with each other, only when they speak up, when they shed their insecurities, only leave their past behind. They both should look at each other from a new angle. Sai should stop thinking that Virat is doing things out of force, she should start looking at how he actually wants certain things. She should try to differentiate what are things one would do out of force and what are things one would do only when they feel like. It will help her open her eyes to look into all of Virat’s actions from a different perspective.

Virat should start seeing why does Sai keep bringing deal in between them, why is she not able to understand his actions, why she is not able to accept her feelings. He should share his past with her, should share about his emotions and what he has been going through ever since they got married. He has to clear a part of her confusion, so that she can think or look at things clearly and not associate it with him doing it only because he is forced to.

I actually had mixed feelings about this episode..I mentioned this in another post too.

I felt both Sai and Virat were not wrong and at the same time they both were wrong as well.

They both were not wrong - Sai and Virat, still unable to communicate their love for each other, nobody’s is at fault here, as Virat still trying to over write on a written paper, he must clear it first and Sai is stuck in Virat’s Waada / his feelings for Pakhi.

They both were wrong - Sai being tad insensitive and mocking Virat’s age and Virat not explaining the past and the deal situation.

Virat completely in love, still giving into his insecurities and Sai still unsure of her love, stuck on deal, fueling his insecurities, sure sounded like a recipe for disaster.

This episode seemed like a preamble to a storm!!

I was upset with the ring incident too especially seeing Virat, but now after reading your post, things cleared up. Once they start open communication and understand each other everything else is history right.
