In ITV or movies makers show relationship as they want it to be and guardianship/responsibility is one of them. Virat could have taken Sai with him as his elder brother too (like Pulkit and Madhuri relationship). But again, had this happened, there wouldn’t have been GHKKPM story (hence everyone thought KJ wanted Virat to marry Sai).

Same goes for Pakhi, if she was the main lead they would have played sad background scores and after so many “ring around the roses for 3-4 years” Virat would have married Pakhi as if they were meant to be together 🤣🤣 ( e.g. tons of EK shows).

In reality, there is nothing like a young working man can take the responsibility of a young girl by only marrying her. Ladki pasand ho to alag baat h. 😜🤣

ha agree … but sometimes I feel it would have been a fun story if virat was just her guardian .. pakhi his girlfriend/ fiancée and he’s an ACP posted in Nagpur .. with Sai staying in hostel ..
he visiting her every weekend on Saturdays.. and she sometimes getting her boyfriend along ..

I don't think FL needed protection from a man or husband, she definitely needs protection from his family and society doesn't really care about all this. Which society would have been important for these two? In hostel, girls do have boyfriends, none really forces a man to marry a woman if he wants to look after her, especially when he is a police officer, he has to look after women, isn't he in charge of woman safety division? Did he marry every woman in his protection?

I don’t agree at all .. most Indian parents would do anything to get their daughter married to an IPs officer..

virat’s credentials are a big deal and he saved her from jagtap .. and he’s a young guy who has been brought up well .. is not a womaniser .. it is not like Sai is washed in milk ..

He has his insecurities.. which most husbands would have given the circumstances

I don't know sometimes I feel KJ was unfair with virat by asking him to take Sai's responsibility it would be better if KJ had left with sai once virat approved his VRS .
