I really want virat to ignore sai a little bit! he has done a lot for her and she hardly gives him enough acknowledgement or praise for that, off course she does praise him but I just feel its a little to less, he takes that extra effort for her. And she is 19 years so obviously she isn't very dumb also! its getting a little irritating now despite their journey coming across as realistic and organic!

Sometimes I the feel the culprit of the mess in Virat's life is Sunny! lol! he was the one who led him onto PP!

Beautifully said, as always. I agree with (mostly) everything you have said here. I understood the pool scene to be slightly different from Sai's point of view than what happened today. During the pool scene, when she told Pakhi not to worry and that Virat never breaks his promises, I felt as if she was telling that more to herself than to Pakhi. You could see the pain in her eyes, as if she was remembering the zimidari vaada in that very moment. When she said that, the hurt in Virat's eyes was also evident...it was an unintentional jab at him, because at that point, neither the vaada he made to Pakhi nor Sai mattered to him. All that mattered was Sai and his love for her.

Today, it was an entirely different situation. Like you have perfectly stated, her only intention was to defend Virat. She was so overcome with emotions that Virat did all of this for her- all she wanted was for him to remember her birthday, and instead, he surpassed all of her expectations. He paid heed to every little detail . She is truly in awe of him and how he cares for her- after she lost her abba, she thought she would be alone, but Virat proved her wrong. When she said that Virat is celebrating the birthday of a girl who has no family, that to me was Sai admiring Virat's heart. Not only did Virat himself celebrate Sai's birthday, but he also understands the value of family to Sai, so he got the entire family involved too. Sai even told Pakhi that this proves how much he loves everyone and how big his heart is...so unintentionally, she acknowledged Virat's love for herself too. Maybe not as a husband yet, but as family at the very very least.

@bold before I say anything, have to give it to you for this 👏. I did think that he involved them all since it would make her happy but the way and the meaning with which you have put this is beautiful ❤️. Right, so Virat has understood that she would have liked everyone to be a part of the celebration especially after she wished for them to attend her college fest.

@1st para I just gave that as an example. Yes, definitely, she had forgotten for a while about the reality of their marriage as she had said that and to accept that, and in that pain and hurt, she told Pakhi that she need not be worried and Virat would never break his promises. But other than that, I also felt that she did want to tell Pakhi that Virat can never be a cheat, he wouldn’t break promises. Her problem was the way Pakhi accused him or accounted him responsibile for her position. She just cannot tolerate to hear that Virat can be a person responsible for anyone’s misery. She has had issues with him, fought with him but whatever good things Virat had done for her, for whatever she has seen or understood about Virat, she can never let anyone think that Virat spoilt their life or Virat is responsible for their misery.

Her age also plays a role in a way because she might even be dismissing off his actions or her own feelings thinking that it is her age that makes her think something for Virat 🤣.

Sunny has a power on Virat that no one else have in matters of love 🤣🤣.

Why? Why? Why? Why are the Sairat scenes always so rushed? Is it always a conscious act? All the drama gets stretched over weeks

And then again next week is beginning of another torturous sequence. Dreading it

I liked the car scene. Agreed, it started weirdly with a hand coming out of nowhere and SaiRat magically teleported to their car. 😆It would have been nice if they had shown Virat leading her to the car but I guess it was cut short in the best interest of giving us more zillat drama. 🤪

The ashirwad scene was such a let down. Modak scene was good but BD sort of made it less beautiful. But in one shot of the scene, I thought I saw Neil and Ayesha in one frame...what was the need for BD I wonder?

I loved the 'himmat' dialogue - both Virat's and Pakhi's. I'm glad Pakhi is atlast showing her true feelings - of her resentment against Virat. The weird thing was - she said it in front of the whole family and no one reacted - not even Mansi. Only Sai seems to have understood her meaning.

I don't know how many felt it that way - but I thought Bhavani's decision to serve everyone - was calculative. She has been quietly observing that Virat has left no stone unturned in making Sai's birthday memorable. She has noticed the bitterness in his voice against Pakhi and he was even uncharacteristically insolent (slightly) while speaking to Bhavani about the incident. She was shocked that Virat (who only knows how to boil water) went do far as to make modaks for Sai. She has realized the wind is turning and things are slipping out of her control. So she is trying to gain favour with Virat again by playing the 'caring matriarch' role. Its her only way trying to retain power. I could be wrong and she may have truly had a change of heart (read whitewashed).

The modak scene to me was one of the most beautiful moments we have seen in the birthday track thus far. Virat's expressions were so precious, and Sai's squeal when she found out he made them was just too cute. It is magical to see how deeply Virat understands Sai's love for her abba, and he has truly gone above and beyond to make sure that she does not feel his absence today. It was particularly touching when he said that he wishes he could have had a chance to taste abba's modaks too. All of this being said, I agree with you completely about the body doubles...they really majorly take away from the scene. Neil's body double was being used through the entire episode at the dining table...it was really noticeable because the BD is way shorter than Neil. To me, it was most apparent during the ashirwaad scene. It bothered me how the BD's hand barely touched Sai's head...the editing was horrible as usual, and the entire scene just looked choppy. Other than that, I found the ashirwaad scene to be quite touching from Sai's perspective...she was completely overcome by emotions and wanted to not just show her gratitude towards Virat, but also wanted his love in the form of his blessing. Often times I find it weird when a wife touches her husband's feet, but I found this moment to be quite beautiful...what did bother me though, was that Virat's response sounded a little bit too fatherly for my liking. Nothing will ever compare to the college admission ashirwaad scene, though, in my opinion. That scene still gives me chills to this day.

I felt differently about the himmat dialogue by Pakhi. To be honest, I was kind of disgusted by it. I was also shocked, like you, that no one from the entire family questioned her. She has no respect for anyone, and it was very vile for her to say that under these circumstances. I think you know by now that I will never have any sympathy for this woman. She needs to get over her Virat obsession....this dialogue was just another jab on her part to SaiRat's relationship. And, who is she to talk about himmat? She is a coward, a lier, and a manipulator. She is the last person who should be questioning anyone's character. I loved Virat's response...in fact, I loved every single thing he said to her yesterday. He is completely over her antics, tamashas, and taunts.

Really interesting take about Kaku. I definitely agree with you in that I don't think that she has had a change of heart towards Sai at all. She will go back to taunting her and speaking poorly about her, as we could tell in the precap with her trying to instigate Virat regarding Ajinkya. But, I do think that a part of her is definitely melting towards Sai. I don't know if it was just me, but she looked in awe of Sai (maybe that language is too strong) when she went and asked for Virat's ashirwaad. To me, it seemed like a moment in which she saw how much Sai respects and values him, which made at least a part of her happy. I'm not sure if she served the food to retain her power or not, because I actually found her interaction with Sai during that scene to be quite cute. She had already made up her mind about Sai from the day she entered the house, so I think this was just a brief moment where she was able to see Sai for who she really is rather than her own misconceptions of her.

However, one this is for sure. Like you have said, at this point, everyone in the family knows that nothing matters for Virat more than Sai. They know that he will go to the ends of the earth for her, to defend her, to protect her. It is going to be extremely hard to watch the upcoming track after all of this, but I'm just clinging on to some hope that the makers will remember that Virat is not Rono. A kaand is bound to happen, and Virat's emotionally impulsive side is bound to come out. But, he really needs to stop short of crossing the line 😭

This is what I'm worried. I too am dreading for this track. I hope CVs have a change of heart and they scrap the suicide track. But, since Indian audience love drama and this kind of track will fetch them TRPs the makers might not scrap this track. And, specially if this track has didi's beizzati then I guess it will be cherry on the cake. Those who have watched the original can enlighten what's in store.
