I’m glad everyone overheard the allegations. They all did what happens in every family. The quick cover up! The how dare you? The you must be mistaken! The do you have proof? I’m glad Shaurya listened to Anokhi. Everyone seems concerned about Sabherwal name….but at least Shaurya is also concerned about the seriousness of the allegation and the safety of the students.

Alok went from “I don’t know her” to “Yea a girl showed up”. Shouldn’t the hallways at least have cctv cameras? They could show Priyanka running out. Also Alok threatening her in the hallway. Also why hasn’t Priyanka shared her recording? I’m glad the complaint has been filed and an investigation is taking place. But maybe the accused director shouldn’t be in the same room as the decision makers.
I understand that Shaurya doesn’t want to accept it. It makes sense that Bebo and Kitty have a hard time hearing about it. Even Tej is arrogant about Sabherwal parenting that he can’t hear of such a thing about his brother. These are reasons why an external investigation needs to happen.

Precap: Anokhi will join the students!! And the media showing up is a repeat of ragging incident!! Looks like Monday will be investigation and Tuesday will be resolution!

Today had a lot of sexual harassment issues being dealt with and a side of Babhir. Not much to say on Babhir other that Babli is probably going to find a new place to live! I hope Vineet’s harassment of Babli lands him back in jail. Didn’t feel like a Saturday episode!

Today's episode:

Anokhi always stood for what is right.All her doubts and confusions about how to deal with such sensitive issueabd nobody was there to allay her not even Shaurya.She could have discussed with Shaan but was skeptical because Shaan might trust his brother over Anokhi.

Anybody would have reacted the same way as Sabherwal family members reacted.Gayatri chachi surprisingly was shocked.No words came out.Kitty Bebo defended their father,TejVi blamed Anokhi.Shaan was shocked.Shaurya being bhatija was shocked too.

Anokhi s conversation with Kitty Bebo is what i loved.

A girl's honour is impotant here.Being daughters it is obvious for Betty to show such reaction when they see the situation from a girl's perspective they might not react this way.But once they know the truth i would like to see their reation.

I remember my mom's words

"Father is girl's superhero and brother takes the next place.Children are the woman's first love husband takes next place."

Shaan Sabherwal most sensible among sabherwals.He is observing every single esture of Alok and by looks on his face it is 50%confirmed.He caught the Alok's lie first and the second one too.

Tej s pride on Sabherwal khandan's parvarish....

Ofcourse planning and plotting against your own son's happiness by blackmailing Anokhi ,Creating rift between saughter in law and son... should not be counted as you were doing for Bhalai of your beta.

I so wish Anokhi's kidnapping issue is exposed too.Shaurya would not leave Alok chachu.

Investigation is coming up.Knowing the pace of show one episode is Chachu pardafarsh second is apologies galore.Hoping for Devi's exposure regarding Aastha in one episode.

But she also needs to listen better. I am in no way saying that she is wrong in raising this issue. Not at all. She definitely should or I would have been disappointed. But she also needs to take what Shaurya is saying, I mean give him a fair hearing.

I agree. The issue is that she blunt in the worst possible way and she has "holier than thou" attitude. It does not help that Sabherwals corner her every time pushing her into becoming a rebel.

In all the dialogues today, she did come across as someone who believed Priyanka more than Alok and she has not even see the proof yet. It is simply because Priyanka was crying. She seemed more concerned about Priyanka's situation instead of understanding the fact that this is going to tear her family apart and break her husband's heart regardless of who is the culprit. There will be ripple effects that will impact her marriage regardless of truth and results. The issue needed delicate handling.

Her reaction should have been to insist on inquiry so that whoever was wrong would be punished. If it was Priyanka, she should be made example of , If it was Alok, action should be taken. She should have also made a case that an external inquiry helped show that management was fair and willing to investigate instead of trying to push the issue under the carpet which lend more credibility to the process. She should have also said that since she has conflict of interest, she will sit this one out as head of student council and let her second-in-command take the lead. BTW I have no idea how a second year student ended up as head, normally it is a final year student.

Instead she insisted on remaining involved and side with students. She asked for external inquiry so that results cannot be tampered by BP ...almost sounded as if she was accusing him of taking sides. She had also already judged Alok guilty. She did not even seem to consider the possibility that it could either be a case of miscommunication or Priyanka could be wrong. That has to rankle with her in-laws.

I have to wonder how she would have reacted if this was indeed Raja 's case and she found out that her parents were a party to hiding a murder attempt and harassment. In other words if her entire family was guilty of committing and hiding a crime. Would she still talk right and wrong with same clarity?

Everything was realistic and everyone was within character. I also completely got the disbelief of the family over the accusation. Gayatri's reaction was interesting though, she did not insist that they was no way Alok could have done something like this.

I did not take an offense to their first thought being about Saberwal name. It is tied to the college and as Shaurya mentioned, their license can be cancelled.

However I have problem with the way Anokhi handled it. I would be completely on board if she had indeed heard the proof but her reason for believing Priyanka was that she was crying and there is no reason to make such allegation falsely.

We as viewers know that Alok is wrong but let us say if we did not know that or Priyanka had accused Shaurya, would we still feel Anokhi's handling of situation justified?

She told Betty that she understands that they are thinking like daughters but maybe someday they will think like females. Would she feel the same way if her father was accused of molesting? She would think like a female and not like a daughter? How would she feel if Shaurya/Sab family seemed to be supporting the woman accusing her father of molestation and already judging her father.

It is easy to be righteous and talk idealism when you are not in those shoes and there is not much to lose on a personal level. If there is a season 2, I want Anokhi to stand in a place where she has to choose between her upbringing/parents and her in laws like Raj's murder attempt incident and her parents covering it up coming up. Or she has to choose between her parents/her desires and Shaurya's expectations (like once in a lifetime opportunity to study abroad vs choose to have her kid with a high risk pregnancy). I want to see how logical, idealistic and righteous she stays then.

Also given the conflict of interest, she should have insisted in sitting this one out. If Priyanka is proven false, students would accuse her and family of medding with investigation. Her family would see her as someone who stood against her without any proof. If Priyanka turned out true, the family would be embarrassed and ripped apart and they will see her as someone who choose to stand by her friend instead of her family and not help them. Emotions do not understand right or wrong. Anokhi loses regardless of what path she chooses.

At this point in the show and with only 6 episodes left, writers have no options. Anokhi is on her way to become mahaan FL who can do no wrong so that we can have a happy ending. There is no time left to show her growth or her realization.
