In that case I cannot prove myself, you are free to believe what deems fit.

I don't need to true. Somewhere we agree!!🤗

I am not sure how is it decided that I have not made posts in his appreciation. I have appreciated him in the past and criticised him as well, wherever I deemed it fit...and I would do it in future also.

But anyway let's end it here.. The point of this thread is something else and not whether I have appreciated Neil enough or not.

You took it in a wrong way . Maybe I should have written it clearly. I said he wasn’t appreciated “extra” when the scene came out well . Both the actors were given equal appreciation so we can’t say he is experienced so he needs to take the blame when a scene doesn’t come right . I never said you haven’t appreciated him .. I said he was not given extra praise for being a senior actor .

My initial post was not directed to you but to everyone who wants him to take the blame when things go wrong but when things are fine he doesn’t get appreciated more but other actor gets the same amount .

@bold Ambiguous that one .

Perceptions would change. For you something would be extra, for me not.. For me something would be extra, for you not!!

So this is something that would remain equivocal...

Sloppy editing that irks me the most. Most of the SaiRat close scenes ends before it can start. Some of them are so contradictory 🤪🤢.

Dressing room hug ended within an blink of an eyes. Wall pinning scene was badly shot. Their first hug was ruined due to Virat was holding Didi's Hand. 😵

Today Sai was feeding a big piece of cake to Aabas photo but she fed a piece of bread to Viru 😵

Anyways, they won't bother with our views, let's watch until we can. What else can we do 🥱

@bold since makers know that people will watch despite all the flaws and blunders, they aren’t much worried and hence don’t prioritise the things which we as audience think are of utmost priority.

I confess I never noticed Virakhi proximity until it crossed over to the ridiculous like that hand-holding near dining table. But lot of forum members have been pointing it out, so obviously it has been a recurrent problem. I did notice today's scene - he was too close during confrontation scene -although maybe it was because he had to hold her hand perhaps?🤔 I don't know.

The reasoning that you pointed out - of actor's natural tendency to be closer to real-life partner and maintain a civil distance with a colleague definitely seems possible. I think the team should be mindful of that.

Hi asmi, thanks for tagging me in this, I really want to put my views on this topic

Disclaimer: guys, even before comment , I want to write disclaimer because now a days in forum if we comment or pointing out on any of the flaws of Neil/ virat or sai/ Ayesha or aish / pakhi, it is being assumed that we are bashing the actors based on offscreen relationship or personal hate towards the actor, so I want to make sure that I really don't care about offscreen or I don't hate any actor for that... Infact I like neil Ayesha and sai virat equally. I hope everyone understands that... So here is my pov

First virat pakhi scenes, I agree pakhi scenes are necessary to keep drama going or triangle love going but is it actually necessary to be in that close proximity, like holding hands and shouldn't director or actors take care of it, especially according to story virat himself pointed out or stopped pakhi to come near him or touch him couple of times during hospital scenes, so doesn't make scene when virat himself holding her hand to whisper... Even in real life , when we know some one have feelings for us and we don't want to encourage them we will be conscious around them to avoid to give any signals but virat no, and plz don't say it happened in heat of the moment, virat is a guy who is so conscious around sai , love of his life by maintaining 3 ft distance... ...some might say virat avoids touching sai because sai don't like , at this point of time I won't buy it, because here I am not talking about whether sai like his touch or pakhi like his touch , I am just talking about what virat wants... And virat definitely don't want pakhi then why either director or actors keep that proximity in check...

Now sairat scenes, we used to love our social distance couple scenes bcoz in starting they are in deal marriage and hesitation from both ends make sense but now at this point of their relationship, it doesn't.... He love her to the core but still he maintains 3 ft distance even when attending to her wounds...sairat are deeply in love and their scenes are so good but when they are supposed to hug or touch eachother they seemed forced, I mean scenes like attending the wound, hug or feeding cake or walking your loved one by holding her are common ITV scenes where we generally see leads getting close enough but her nothing no passion, they are just scenes , whom should we blame for this , I am sorry but I would blame both vankara , directors and actors mainly Neil , I agree vankara and editor cut shot hug scenes or some romantic scenes but even when we got one , what's happening nothing it looks like normal scene, nothing like two people in love hugging... When I am talking about romance or passion I am not talking about some sensor xyz scenes , I am just talking about small addittions

Few which I noticed , these are small scenes but I felt if done better would have been added value to sairat bond and progression

Scene where virat asked sai to turn around to close her eyes during birthday thing to take her to their room: generally if we are doing that to someone close to us we involuntarily hold their shoulders to turn around and stand more close to them, but the way virat gestured it looked like he is talking to just some stranger or someone else wife but not his....

Hugs: seriously other than hug in harinee birthday, no other hug felt passionate. They really looked forced

Wiping tears : virat hardly touches while wipping sai tears ,example scene after handholding khand , sorry that particular scene is more beautiful in other two versions with ml cupping FL face.

Attending the wound : ithna dur se phook koun Martha hai bhai, in real world also people go little more close than this

These are small scenes but takes away the flavour and make us doubt are these really a couple? For a moment even if We can take virat pakhi proximity as common according to ITV standards, lack of proximity in sairat and same proximity between virat pakhi is irritating and taking away the flovor, whom should we blame for this, who will add this small addittions actor or director, I don't know... But I am disappointed with Neil because I have expectations from him.

Why only neil? Why not Neil, Neil is actor who can make us go crazy and drool over him only with his eyes, his expression, he is the reason we love virat because even when virat have no dialogue him with his Expressions made clear what virat wants and make us fall in love with him, then we give credit to him for adding such expressions and improvise the shot , then why can't I blame him and blame alone the director for lack of proximity, as a experience actor , and me as huge fan of his improvisation or expressions, is it wrong at my end to expect him to improvise and add few adding in the matter of proximity in sairat scenes or check his proximity in viraki scenes... I believe no... due to this as asmi pointed out it looks like virat / pakhi are love hate couple and sai is some sister or something

I really don't know what's the reason for this , insecurities, lack of direction or something else, I won't say Neil is unprofessional, I still believe he is the reason for sairat to become this famous but I also say he is also one of the reason I am loosing interest in sairat...

This is my pov...

Sorry for this long rant and Again I am really sorry if hurt anyone .

I definitely feel Neil should understand the issues raised by fans ( already people did on twitter) and restrain himself from being in the personal space of his partner whatever the scene would be.

Yes,directors are at fault but actor also should be aware of the relationship status while executing the scene.

Just repeating what I said somewhere else.

It is not about blaming Neil. It is something that is expected from an accomplished actor like Neil who has years of experience as a back up. He often talks about improvisation with reference to his and Sai’s scenes which is really felt because Sairat confrontations and nokjhok always come up top notch . For instance during their argument after the college function, when Virat is confronting Sai ..whether she remembered her words that she has no interest in marriage, they walk back and their steps are so much in sink,in rythym that posts have been made on twitter to praise how could they even walk like that!

Neil also should take into consideration that he can not be that near to his on screen Bhabhi and avoid physical touch.

It is not a criticism it is a wish that a seasoned actor like him could take care and be alert.
