This Sloppiness Really Has To Stop

I apologize in advance for this rant. I really hope you guys won't take this in the wrong way, because I am absolutely in love with this show and SaiRat. There are just some things that have been bothering me for the past few episodes, and it seems to be getting out of control at this point.

Sometimes I wonder how Ghum is a prime time TV show on Starplus. The editing and directing has been completely unacceptable lately. There are numerous examples I can give, but here I will list just a few. The greenroom hug between SaiRat was cut short due to the editing, and as a result we got a 10 second hug followed by an abrupt scene of TriMurthi walking to the auditorium. The on-stage hug between SaiRat was edited so poorly that this entire forum was confused as to whether Virat ended the hug because of Pakhi or Ajinkya. The hug and tear wiping scene after Sai imagined her abba was honestly comical...they used Ajinkya to play Neil's body double and they did not even try to get a body double that looks more like our ML. It looked like Virat was wiping Sai's tears from 10 feet away. It felt as if they did not watch the episode prior to releasing it, or else they would have realized how terrible it looked. And just today, the cake cutting scene lasted for about 2 seconds. It seems as though we will get a better cake scene between Sai and Ajinkya tomorrow than we got between SaiRat today. The scene was interrupted by Pakhi's crying face multiple times, and SaiRat were barely even in the same frame. These are just a few instances off of the top of my head.

I want to make clear that 0% of this blame goes on either Neil or Ayesha. They are literally the only reason this show is so successful, and both of their work ethics and professionalism is commendable. We are truly blessed to have such amazing leads in our show. But, the directors and editors need to be mindful of these things. Because, even if the rest of the episode is great, these scenes add up and leave a sour taste in the viewers' mouths.

I am sorry if this post comes across as negative. But, I feel that as viewers and lovers of this show, we should also be allowed to discuss the parts we dislike and the parts that are bothering us. I would love to get everyone else's opinions on this too.

Wonderfully penned it is!! They should really look into this... It's high time now!😔 They r airing this in prime time on one of the most viewed channel...STAR PLUS! Ek baar hota hai do baar hota hai.. But this happens everytime!!!🙄

They used Ajinkya actor?? I was feeling it was Aadish(Mohit)😳... Jo bhi ho can't they use proper BD ! Height of carelessness!

And about distancing... I only can say .... Do they really think Kanoon k haath lambe hote hai?? I mean look that distance yaar🤔... Can't the director be somewhat careful in such matters?

With the shabby attention and observation I have during TV shows, in that BD hug after aaba scene recently, more than the hug it was tear wiping which confused me.

Neil was wiping the tears with right hand and BD was with left and it seemed ridiculous🤣

I haven't watched today's episode, so can't say yet.

But also I don't get why they sometimes take close up with unwanted things. Recently, when Sairat entered the room for surprise, there was a close up of Sai's hands keeping the bag on the bed, I mean, these are things which we shouldn't even notice right. A brown bag being kept on the bed, or they just wanted to highlight the bed and it's decor which backfired🤣

I mean, I don't get it😆

I might be overthinking, as I usually don't comment on such things, even very less on didi's acting skills etc cuz I don't know much about it. And it would be wrong of me to comment on this. But these above mentioned confused me a lot😆

Editing has gone downhill if we compare initial episodes with current episodes.

Directors have changed, maybe that's why.

But yeah, the crew needs to pay attention to the diting part. Looks very sloppy

Initial episodes were the best, in terms of editing, costumes, story, etc.

Yaar I noticed this too... I was so confused. Why do they need to show us the shot of the bag on the bed?? 🤣 You know I am your number 1 positivity follower, so even I thought I was overreacting at first. But these things keep happening and it's getting really hard to ignore....

Yaar maybe it was Mohit... who knows. All I know is that man looked nothing like Virat 🤢 Like you said, it's just so careless. It made it worse that it was one of the most important and emotional scenes of the entire episode.
